Last night they cut off my water in preparation for an ultrasound this morning. That made my coughing much worse, and I haven’t recovered from that. No results. I’m still in a holding pattern, and will keep you posted.
Do you believe this?

I’m still in the hospital. Tomorrow I’ll meet with an occupational and a physical therapist to form a plan. The doctor thinks the place I live has become more severe than my body can handle. I’ll keep you posted.

In case you’re wondering where I was, yesterday, I’m posting this from my hospital room. Last night, for reasons unknown, my blood sugar level crashed all the way to 24. I was completely out of my mind, hallucinating like a Republican on election day. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before. When I arrived at the hospital, they decided that I had not recovered sufficiently from pneumonia/bronchitis and checked me in. .My friend brought my notebook earlier. I will not sleep, because they poke and prod every 2 minutes. Plus they have me on an Oxygen meter that screams an alarm at me at least once every two minutes. A saline drip pumps it in faster than I can pee out. And the food… Personally, I’m considering an act of cannibalism in retribution. In any case, a picture is worth a thousand words. I hope you are entertained.

I’m having a rough day. Yesterday, I cough so violently that I strained lower right abdominal muscles. Therefore last night and today, every time I cough, which is continuously, I feel like I’m being stabbed in the side. With Levofloxacin, I typically turn the corner on the fourth of fifth day. Nevertheless, today’s other article was too important not to share.
This morning I took a cab to my doctor. I was a half hour early. She was a half hour late. She told me she suspected pneumonia, because my O2 was only 85%. She called an ambulance and sent me to the ER. They poked and prodded all day. Then they said my pneumonia is not quire bad enough to admit me. The sent me home exhausted with the same prescription the doctor would have give me. I feel thoroughly frustrated.
Another rough day of coughing too much to sleep. My friend with a car wants to take me tomorrow, but cannot. Therefore I have decided to take a taxi to and from the doctor tomorrow. Although it will cost me a load, I know that 4 hours of public transit and 1.5 – 2 mii.walking exceeds my current ability.
