It’s a crazy day here in the CatBox. Megan (my PCP) called last night. She changed her mind and does not want me to go to the ER. She decided that the time passed without change shows that I’m not having heart attacks, so she wants me in her office next week for GI tests instead. The Cat Scan I have scheduled Monday would show any problems, due to the contrast. Tomorrow is a Holy Day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. My Broncos are meditating with the Browns. With Flacco out 4-6 weeks, none of their three remaining QBs have ever started a game. It won’t be televised here. May the Orb bless your team, as it sure won’t bless mine. Please expect no more than Personal Updates from me tomorrow (WWWendy Day), Monday (Cat Scan), or Wednesday (GI appt. with PCP). In short, I’ll be scarce. Hectic hugs to all.

From The New Yorker: In an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, Donald Trump boasted that, if he is impeached, the television ratings will be higher than those of any other impeachment in history.

“Everywhere I go, people tell me that if I am impeached, they’re going to watch it,” he said. “The ratings are going to be through the roof.”

He said that he expected his impeachment ratings to be “many, many times” the size of the audience for Bill Clinton’s impeachment, in 1998.

“It’s not even going to be close,” Trump said. “The ratings for Bill Clinton’s impeachment were a joke.”

It’s a busy day here in the CatBox. Store to Door is delivering groceries this afternoon. My trip to the ER has been put off until Saturday afternoon, because WWWendy has to work Friday evening. Guys, I’m not trying to evade it, but I have to go at a time that WWWendy can take me. I have to take a lot of absolutely necessary baggage in case they keep me (my chair with it’s recharging system, my notebook, a full suitcase, etc). TriMet Lift and the ambulance company can’t (won’t) handle all that. I’ll post Samantha Bee tomorrow. The Impeachment Rules just passed. Hurry Hugs to all.

I spoke with Megan, my PCP, this morning and talked to WWWendy right after. Megan wants me to go to the emergency room to have my heart checked and to try to ascertain what’s wrong with me. I can’t go tonight, because I’ve already ordered groceries, and I have to be here to take delivery and put them away. I cant go tomorrow night, because it’s Halloween, and the ER will be a total zoo. So WWWendy is taking me late Friday afternoon. If I’m not here Saturday, they kept me. I sure hope I am. I’m busy getting ready, so this is my only article today. Hump Day Hugs to all.

It’s a crappy day here in the CatBox. Microsoft updated my Office reinstallation and trashed it. I tried to repair it for a couple hours, without success, and had to reinstall it from scratch, which took another 90 minutes. Of course I discovered the problem at bedtime, so I finally got to bed over three hours late. To make matters worse, Microsoft discontinued OneNote 2016, forcing me to use Windows 10 OneNote. It will take a lot of getting used to. I feel exhausted. I also feel pretty sick. I’m going to call Megan (PCP) to see what it’s going to take to diagnose this. Poopy pooped Hugs to all.

“Out of nowhere, they just started chanting,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “They really want to see me locked up for another four years.”

It’s another crappy day, here at the CatBox. The problem that’s causing the Republicosis is that I’m taking more aspirin than I should in the Alka-Seltzer I need and consuming far more dairy products than normal. I’ve talked to my doctor about it, and she said to cut down on both. I’m going to try an aspirin free antacid effervescent. It’s on the way. Sleepy OGIM Hugs to all.

From Nation of Change: …A church in Columbia, Missouri teamed up with non-profit organization RIP Medical Debt last month. Together The Crossing Church and RIP Medical debt paid off more than $43 million of medical debt. The Crossing was able to raise more than $430,000 through donations from members of the church.

Churches in several other states have also partnered with RIP Medical Debt to help pay off past-due medical debt for local residents. Pathway Church in Wichita, Kansas, spent $22,000 of their budget to eliminate $2.2 million in medical debt. Emmanuel Memorial Episcopal Church in Champaign, Illinois, used $15,000 of surplus money from a building renovation project to eliminate $4 million of debt for more than 3,000 families. Revolution Annapolis church in Maryland raised $15,000 to erase $1.9 million in medical debt for nearly one thousand families last year. And City Church in Evansville, Indiana, raised $15,000 and wiped out $4 million in debt.

Most recently in Texas, Lake Pointe Church paid off over $2.5 million in medical debt as part of their “Pay it Forward” campaign. The campaign encourages community members to commit acts of kindness in celebration of the church’s 40th anniversary…

This illustrates the pro-social behavior of authentic Christians. It’s the opposite of the the hateful behavior of Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christians. RESIST!!

From NY Times: United States Special Operations commandos carried out a risky raid in northwestern Syria on Saturday against a senior terrorist leader there, two senior administration officials said late Saturday.

A senior American official said commandos and analysts were still seeking to confirm the identity of the terrorist, who the officials said was killed in the operation when he exploded his suicide vest.

But a person close to President Trump and a senior American official said that the target of the raid was believed to be the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. A senior administration official said that the president had approved the mission.

With Trump in charge, it will be al-Baghdadi, whether it is or not. No doubt he will attribute the success to his own superiority and claim that the intelligence for the location is a byproduct of his brilliant plan to withdraw US troops from protecting the Kurds. For the record, the military has been watching that location closely since September, and the intelligence came from our former allies, the Kurds. It had nothing to do with Trump. RESIST!!

I’m feeling a bit better, here in the CatBox, but I’m still quite tired, so I’ll be brief. Tomorrow is a holy day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. My Broncos are meditating with the Colts, but it won’t be televised here. I fear my full grown horses may be too long in the tooth to keep up with the kids. May the Divine Orb shine its blessing light on your team, unless they are equine juveniles. WWWendy also comes tomorrow to destink the foul TomCat and help with chores. From NY Times: A federal judge handed a victory to House Democrats on Friday when she ruled that they were legally engaged in an impeachment inquiry, a decision that undercut President Trump’s arguments that the investigation is a sham.

The declaration came in a 75-page opinion by Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell of the Federal District Court in Washington. She ruled that the House Judiciary Committee was entitled to view secret grand jury evidence gathered by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.

Typically, Congress has no right to view such evidence. But in 1974, the courts permitted lawmakers to see such materials as they weighed whether to impeach President Richard M. Nixon. The House is now immersed in the same process focused on Mr. Trump, Judge Howell ruled, and that easily outweighs any need to keep the information secret from lawmakers.

Wonderful! However, I have no doubt that Barrf will appeal this to the District Court of Appeals in DC, and upon losing there, to SCROTUS (Republican anti-Constitutional VD). This decision invalidates the entire noncooperation policy of the Republican Reich, but don’t expect any documents anytime soon. RESIST!!
