It’s a crazy day here in the CatBox. Megan (my PCP) called last night. She changed her mind and does not want me to go to the ER. She decided that the time passed without change shows that I’m not having heart attacks, so she wants me in her office next week for GI tests instead. The Cat Scan I have scheduled Monday would show any problems, due to the contrast. Tomorrow is a Holy Day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. My Broncos are meditating with the Browns. With Flacco out 4-6 weeks, none of their three remaining QBs have ever started a game. It won’t be televised here. May the Orb bless your team, as it sure won’t bless mine. Please expect no more than Personal Updates from me tomorrow (WWWendy Day), Monday (Cat Scan), or Wednesday (GI appt. with PCP). In short, I’ll be scarce. Hectic hugs to all.

MSNBC: I really, really, hope “…this is not a sustainable strategy….” Are they banking on McConnell’s old comment about how “…it will all be forgotten,” especially before their re-election time next year? Do they have another strategy waiting in the wings, do they simply think that their constituents will stay with what is probably party voting, back home? Might they not be vulnerable to some competitive Republican primary, and not even get on the ballot in November? What a sad lot! Corrupt? who? the GOPIGGIES? MSNBC: So many arguments why Republicans can’t keep on ducking the issue and defend Trump for the corruption he has admitted to and will it change the behaviour of Republicans? Not one iota. And will it make any difference at the polls for the average Republican voter? Not one iota either. The only way to change it is to get ALL Democratic votes out.
EW: Plain and simple, that sounds like a good plan, Elizabeth Warren. Of course, Republicans will try to catch her out on detail and burn the whole plan based on one, easily mendable, consequence they don’t like. Keep fighting, Liz. You still have the most to offer America.
