I spoke with Megan, my PCP, this morning and talked to WWWendy right after. Megan wants me to go to the emergency room to have my heart checked and to try to ascertain what’s wrong with me. I can’t go tonight, because I’ve already ordered groceries, and I have to be here to take delivery and put them away. I cant go tomorrow night, because it’s Halloween, and the ER will be a total zoo. So WWWendy is taking me late Friday afternoon. If I’m not here Saturday, they kept me. I sure hope I am. I’m busy getting ready, so this is my only article today. Hump Day Hugs to all.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve been sent on to the ER, TomCat and worrying too, as it won’t give you any respite from your Republicosis and has you worried about your heart for the next two days and the possibility of being kept in hospital. I’m Keeping everything possible crossed to ward that off, TomCat.

MSNBC: Vindman’s testimony points out yet another way the White House has tried to obstruct justice, this time with leaving essential material out of the transcript. This is exactly what we have come to expect from the WH including the trashing of an honourable man who never did anything but his job the best way he could.
RR: Robert Reich adheres to the presentation standard never to have more than 5-7 points to talk about. Anymore will be lost on the audience, often having it forget the first points together with the rest. Good thing Robert does this though; if he were to address all the ways Trump is selling out the US while looking out only for himself, he’d never finish the video because Trump keeps adding to the list on a daily basis.

Took my pseudo- Uncle & Aunt (my real aunt’s by marriage brother & sister) leaf-peeping in north-central Missouri on Monday and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately the leaves were not at peak and had a few intermittent drizzles – but we still enjoyed ourselves.
Took the back roads w/ our destination being a pecan farm (no idea Missouri was a major pecan producer), but ended up stopping at one closer to home.
Didn’t learn as much as I had hoped (the one further east looked more information oriented), but still a fun trip.
I would encourage you to reconsider postponing your ER visit. Like I said, I’ve been out of town, but I don’t recall you mentioning cardiac issues WRT this past episode. It’s never wise to ignore heart symptoms!
And my on-call experience WRT Halloween is that it’s actually a quieter time than usual – too much other stuff going on. (But adults might be different than pediatric visits.)
Bottom Line: Do NOT delay an ER visit just because of possible perceived scheduling concerns!
