Between 175 – 64 BC, Antiochus IV, King of Syria, sacrificed a pig to Zeus on the Jewish alter of the temple in Jerusalem, an act called the “abomination of desolation”.  With that in mind, few things are more offensive to Jews than bringing a pig into a Synagogue.  Nevertheless, a pig plans to do that very thing, despite thousands of requests to stay away, because he wants to use Tree of Life Synagogue for a campaign appearance about an hour or two from now.

Still reeling from the horror and grief after Saturday’s massacre at the Tree of Life synagogue, Pittsburgh is now dealing with something else: the barbed politics of the 2018 midterms and widespread opposition to President Trump’s plan to visit here Tuesday.

Jewish leaders said that President Trump was not welcome in Pittsburgh and accused him of stirring up extremism.

Mayor William Peduto, who strongly rejected Mr. Trump’s suggestion that armed guards in houses of worship are the answer to violence, warned that the president would be a distraction from funerals taking place Tuesday.

Many in the Jewish community in Pittsburgh cited what they saw as the president’s divisive rhetoric, which they feel had a role in enabling the violence here, as well as other recent episodes including the mail bombs sent from Florida to prominent Democratic figures and what appears to be the racial killing of two black shoppers near Louisville, Ky. Interviews in Florida reflected a similar urgency and unease about the intersection of violence in American life and the looming midterm elections…. [emphasis added]

Rachel thought the White House staff would pull the plug, but if they tried, he wouldn’t listen. He’s in the plane on the way. I hope Mayor Peduto does not pull a single cop off security for the funerals to protect Trump.  He faces little risk.  Unlike Republican Domestic Terrorists, who commit mass murder all too often, Democrats pull out the guns only to shoot ourselves in the foot.

I pray that the pig does not cause more pain to the grieving families.

Other than the Republican Party itself, few things are a greater blight on America than the Republican Reichsministry of propaganda, Faux Noise.  They are so disingenuous that Faux Noise sheeple are more poorly informed than people with no news at all.  What Faux Noise does best is to spread hate, such as the hate that inspired the Nazi Caravan Synagogue Murderer.  I agree with others that it’s time to close the wallet to Faux Noise advertisers.

Fox ‘News’ makes their money brainwashing their viewers and filling their minds with hateful views, conspiracy theories, racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic viewpoints. Their reign of terror has gone on for decades, unchecked.

It has reached a breaking point and we must act. Just watch the above clip from Laura Ingraham’s show. It is vile, despicable and hateful. After days of venom aimed at the helpless and terrified people walking in the caravan to the southern border of the United States, Ingraham is now directly saying that these innocent people are unvaccinated (how do they know this?) and infested with diseases, like rabies and typhoid.

The synagogue in the Squirrel Hill section of Pittsburgh where 11 people were killed and six were wounded on Saturday, including four police officers, typically has police guarding its worship services on the holiest Jewish holidays—but not for a normal Saturday morning service. President Trump, upon arriving in Indianapolis Saturday afternoon, confirmed that the shootings took place at “a baby-naming ceremony at a sacred house of worship.” Police sources told the local CBS station that the gunman walked in and yelled, “All Jews must die.”

“On a day like today, the door is open,” the congregation’s immediate past president, Michael Eisenberg, told CNN. “It’s a religious service. You could walk in and out. Only on the high holidays is there a police presence at the entrance.”…

…FBI hate crime statistics for 2016, the most recent year available, show that more than half of reported anti-religious hate crimes in the United States were motivated by anti-Semitism. That’s been consistent in recent years, while bias against Muslims, who make up about 1 percent of Americans, was responsible for about a fifth of hate crimes.

And anti-Jewish crime may be rising. The Anti-Defamation League, a century-old advocacy group for Jews and other people targeted by discrimination, found that 2017 saw a nearly 60 percent surge in reported anti-Semitic incidents—which came on top of a 35 percent increase the year before….

To be fair, Bowers is not a Trump supporter.  Trump is not violent enough for him.  Nevertheless, Trump and the entire Republican share responsibility, because the atmosphere of hatred and violence they promote empowers people like the MAGA Maniac and Bowers.

Unfortunately that is not possible, as long as the Republican Party enables hate and violence.  The Nazis know who is on their side, as Richard Spencer demonstrated to celebrate Trump’s theft of the White House.
