From Raw Story: [A] wave of robocalls using racist language went out in Georgia in recent days apparently targeted at undermining the campaign of former state lawmaker Stacey Abrams, who is running to become the first black female governor in the United States, according to her and her rival’s campaign.

The calls impersonated media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who earlier this week campaigned with Abrams, and also featured anti-Semitic language, according to audio of the call heard by Reuters.

From Daily Kos: This is a wonderful development. Green Party candidate Angela Green has just pulled out of the race and is asking her supporters to vote for Democrat Kyrsten Sinema.

The Kyrsten Sinema/Martha McSally race is one of the most hotly contested in the country. RealClearPolitics has it as a tie.  NBC News/Marist shows Green polling at 6%. If those 6% go to Sinema, that might make this race winnable.

In any event, Sinema’s chances have just vastly improved. One thing is for certain, election night is going to be a nailbiter.

From The New Yorker: A vast majority of Americans would feel significantly safer if an enormous caravan consisting of angry white men left the country, a new poll indicates.

The poll, conducted by the University of Minnesota’s Opinion Research Institute, suggests that the concept of an angry-white-male caravan could be the most wildly popular policy proposal in the run-up to Tuesday’s midterm elections.

In an indication of just how much support the proposal has, many Americans said that they would personally contribute gas money to help get the caravan on its way.

Despite the popularity of the caravan, however, there was disagreement over what the optimal number of angry white men to depart with it would be, with some suggesting a figure of twenty thousand and others preferring a number as high as forty million.

From Alternet: Every White House and presidential administration is forced to grapple with frequent staff turnover due to the nature of the job, but under President Donald Trump, the country has seen a historic amount of resignations and dismissals.

And after the 2018 midterm elections, the problem is almost certain to get worse, as multiple reports indicate.

A recent report from Politico found that five Cabinet officials (Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Defense Secretary James Mattis, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen) were likely to leave the administration after the November election.

And on Tuesday, the Washington Post reported that one of the investigations of Zinke has been referred to the Department of Justice as a potential criminal probe, raising the likelihood that he’ll depart. The Post also confirmed that he is only "one of multiple Cabinet members who may leave after the midterm elections."

“Paul Ryan should be focusing on holding the Majority rather than giving his opinions on Birthright Citizenship, something he knows nothing about!” Mr. Trump said in a Twitter post.

I think Lyin’ Ryan was focused on trying to preserve the Reich’s stranglehold on Congress. The Fuhrer hates being contradicted and showed his desperation. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
