Criminal Fuhrer Trump* has demonstrated once again how much he cares about preventing the spread of the Republican plague, Trump* virus, at his campaign events.
President Donald Trump is downplaying worries about holding indoor rallies during the COVID-19 pandemic on the grounds that he doesn’t feel like he will be infected with the disease.
In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the president dismissed concerns about potentially spreading the disease with indoor rallies, which epidemiologists have warned could serve as super spreader events.
“I’m on a stage and it’s very far away,” Trump said. “And so I’m not at all concerned.”
Of course, the concern with holding indoor rallies isn’t so much about the president getting infected, but that thousands of rally goers may get infected and then spread it back to their families and communities when they return home… [emphasis added]

Every time Trump* holds a super-spreader event, like the one at which Trump* murdered Herman “999” Cain, there is an uptick in infections and deaths among the Sheeple too stupid to stay away, not mention the families, friends and communities they infect. From NY Times: Well before his move to the Department of Homeland Security, Brian Murphy had become known as an ambitious counterterrorism investigator at the F.B.I., determined and relentless. At times, though, colleagues chafed at what some saw as an overzealous disregard for bureaucratic rules.
All of those traits may have been at play this week when Mr. Murphy, a career law enforcement officer, became a whistle-blower.
The Department of Homeland Security was built after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, 19 years ago Friday, to keep federal, state and local governments coordinated on national security threats. But in his whistle-blower complaint, Mr. Murphy, the department’s former intelligence chief, said its senior leaders directed him to do the opposite: play down the primary national security threats of white supremacy and Russian election interference, thus distorting intelligence to mirror President Trump’s messaging.
The allegations, coming less than two months before Election Day, add to the growing evidence that Mr. Trump has prioritized his own political goals over the word of his intelligence officials, and that the Homeland Security Department has become an instrument of his personal will. Mr. Murphy’s complaint reflects the current turmoil at homeland security and is another front in Mr. Trump’s battle with the government’s intelligence agencies.

This is for everyone who is condemning Bob Woodward for not revealing the tapes at the time that he made them. Journalists do know a little something about people – at least the good ones do.
I often see remarks in comments and even in articles to the tue of “Democrats need to act more like Republicans,” and I invariably cringe. Republicans are so corrupt! But they use their corruption to run right over us, and that does need to stop. This is not a new problem (only the names “Democrat” and “Republican” are new, and, though this will come as a surprise to many if not most people, there is a textbook to teach nice people how to prevail against the corrupt while staying as nice as possible and with a minimum of corruption. That textbook is “The Prince” by Niccolo Machiavelli. Yes, I know, you’ve been trained to think of him as pure evil and his advice as pure corruption. Two groups have a vested interest in keeping you believing that: purity freaks, and Republicans. I know when I first read it I was astonished at how free from malice it was. Here’s a better explanation than I can give.

It’s a hectic day here in the CatBox. I have the AC working, but I have to babysit it. I lost the washer in my portable O2 unit, and Providence Medical Equipment will deliver one this moaning. I’ll be scarce for the next few days. Please expect no more than a daily Personal Update before Monday. Tomorrow I have to take the TriMet Lift Bus to to the hospital for my second infusion in 90°+ weather. Because of WWWendy’s work schedule, I had to schedule the appointment for 3:20 PM. I’ll nap during the morning. WWWendy will pick me up at 5:30. When we get home at around 6:00 PM, we still have a whole normal WWWendy day to do. I’ll be exhausted and will get to bed way late. I may be too worn out to do more Thursday. Friday Deborah, the Providence Home Health doctor is coming for a routine visit. Saturday is a morning WWWendy day. Sunday I’m meeting with several prison volunteer coworkers and former prisoners on Zoom. If I can do more, I will, but I’ll be busier than a long-tail TomCat in a rocking chair showroom. Tuesday is flush your Republicans day. Flush fast. They’re sneaky as hell. Oh God, it’s Tuesday!

“Trump is in Berlin!” the woman shouted from a small stage, as if to dedicate the imminent charge to him.
She was so convincing that several groups of far-right activists later showed up at the American Embassy and demanded an audience with Mr. Trump. “We know he’s in there!” they insisted.
Mr. Trump was neither in the embassy nor in Germany that day — and yet there he was. His face was emblazoned on banners, T-shirts and even on Germany’s pre-1918 imperial flag, popular with neo-Nazis in the crowd of 50,000 who had come to protest Germany’s pandemic restrictions. His name was invoked by many with messianic zeal.
It was only the latest evidence that Mr. Trump is emerging as a kind of cult figure in Germany’s increasingly varied far-right scene.
As much as the Republican Reich tries to claim that Trump* is not a Nazi, even foreign Nazis know who their Fuhrer is! RESIST!!

It’s another sweltering day here in the CatBox with a high of 95°. Last night I executed my Last Will and Testament. WWWendy was thrilled to learn that she gets both the liver and the plunger. I overslept and had a hearty breakfast of gooped potatoes, ground beef, cheese and gravy, gooped watermelon, mixed berry yogurt and apple juice, so I’m running later. Diana will be here in the next 45 minutes to check my butt fungus. Wendy has to work, so she can’t be here to make a video of the event. Update: I have a mildly infested but much more contented ass!
