Glenn Kirschner – a recap of May

Don WInslow Films – Well, he nails Sinema, but I’d rather have her than a Republican 9and no, she isn’t one – she [and Manchin] both vote with the Democratic caucus more often than not. Sadly, the “not” votes are generally more visible.)

The Republican Accountability Project – a coule of weeks old, but aged well – too well.

Ring of Fire – Mo Brooks

RebelHQ – DANGEROUS Trump Speech You Can’t Ignore – good analysis of the need to cover garbage pople who are also dangerous

Beau – I’ve seen him upset before – but not this upset. (And with good reason.)

  1. Legal Stories for the Month of May 2021

OK – we all get it: “Justice Matters”

But to date, Merrick Garland has been MORE than a little disappointing honoring that mantra.

Happy for you that you’re a biker.

Now stop pedaling your Pablum and start doing your job as a DAM DEMOCRAT!

Trump’s Still Lying about the 2020 Election

    And he ALWAYS WILL!

Mo Brooks Finally Gets Served With Lawsuit

THANK YOU, Rep. Swalwell!  (And his server!)

DANGEROUS Trump Speech You Can’t Ignore

There is NO Trump speech that is NOT dangerous.

We ignore him at our (and our country’s) peril!

  2. JM: No matter how many recaps Kirschner makes, it remains disappointing how little has been achieved yet.

DWF: I think most Democrats would prefer a real Democrat to a DINO, Joanne.

RAP: The GQP wants to move on while still parroting the former guy’s lies. And now they ARE eating their cake and having it too.

ROF: I’m not very familiar with this serving of a lawsuit in person but in this case, it seems to work against Mo Brooks that he’s been trying to avoid it being served for over a month. His cowardly behaviour is SO typically Republican.

RHQ: I’m afraid they are right, networks should pay some attention to what this demented Nero is fiddling, even if it is just some high-lights and low-lights, as long as it is accompanied by strong condemnation. They mustn’t ever give the former guy a platform for propaganda again.

    Beau:

‘Upset’ wasn’t the impression I got, anger came closer to it, I think. But Manchin doesn’t care that if he votes against the For The People Act or against changing filibustering rules there soon will be only one party in America because he has wanted to officially be in that party for a long time.

  3. Past a certain point, “upset” iS “anger” – though it may also be garnished with fear and worry.  I felt all of those were present.

  4. GK: So much happened in may, on the legal front!  I do not care who gets indicted first, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on, just as long as they get indicted; from little Matty Boy to Rancid Rudy, to Barren Barr, to the Orange Failure.
DW: Maybe Ms. Fitness can do a swim to Kiribati, and hang out until the ocean claims it.  (I know, it’s a straining)
RAP: Well, the Empty, No-One has a different opinion.
ROF: “You can run, but you can’t hide!”  Poor baby!
RHQ: “…who, perhaps, have no right to steal it.”  Standard MO for this pos: “…perhaps…?”  So who does have a “right” to steal a national election?  Oh, silly me: TOT, of course!  Who has a “right” to steal anything?  He has ben honing his manipulative skills (all he’s got) for frigging ever!  “China must pay!” Yeah, just like the Mexicans and the wall…and these imbeciles applaud.
BEAU: I have a sneaky hunch that Liz C. might, just might show the ethics she seems to embody, and vote for HR1, and to kill the filibuster; Romney?  No.  Can I be wrong?  Does the bear poop in the woods?  “Bipartisan?”  In the current world?  Where is Manchin’s stash of Kool-Aid?  Yeah, Beau’s pissed!
