Mitch was kind enough to share a video that I not only thoroughly enjoyed, but it also got me thinking. So while not exactly “Changing Your Horse in Mid-Stream” it did cause me to dig deeper, which is why it’s taking me a bit longer than I had hoped.

So I’m providing a brief Trailer Teaser to pique your curiosity. (But the Trailer is NOT from the video Mitch shared – but the result of digging deeper.)

(I think you’ll agree that the guy on the right at the end decided to pass up lessons from the Arthur Murray Dance Studio, and opted for the discounted Elaine Benes TV self-help version.

In Lona’s reply to WWWendy’s news yesterday. she suggested opening an updaye page every so that there is aplace for all of us to easily check in case WWWendy has had a chance to post. I did that while he was moving, y’all may remember, and I trust it helped WWWendy – I know it helped us.

I’ll be happy to continue that … unless WWWendy woulf like to be an author and make update posts herelf? Not every day mecessarily, but when there is news? I know TC already taught you how to do that using his credentials, and I could give you your own credentials in a New York minute if you would be willing.

Today way was a sleepy day, here at the CatBox. I slept most f the day. I woke up in time for morphine and went back to sleep. I Republicated quite painfully before getting on on the computer where I still am. Please pray that that Republication does not exacerbate my pain!

PHP is a programming language used to build websites. We have it at all through our hosting partner, BlueHost. In order to update it, we have to go through Bluehost. During his life, TomCat was the only one who had access to our account there. I (JD) am now the only one. I have been to BlueHost and investigated updating our PHP to 8.3 or even to 8.1. I found instructions to do so - in fact, I found two conflicting sets of instructions. I went through one set of the steps and got the message that Our site could not handle 8.3, but that it had successfully updated to 8.1. I then went back here to see what it looked like. But I couldn't get in - either as an administrator or as a reader. It was just gone. I had to reach BlueHost by phone. It was determined that Politics Plus is in fact not compatible with any version of PHP newer than the one we have. BlueHost therefore uninstalled it for me, and the site came back to normal. Of course, like everyone else, I care about security. But I also am aware that TomCat elected to use different providers for several of the services that BlueHost provides, for instance backups. We are backed up daily - but not by BlueHost. However, out PHP is through Bluehost. I feel that if they are not worried about the older version, I am not going to worry about it. I believe that our security here is all or mostly through WordFence, whom I trust.
