Glenn Kirschner – more on grand juries (I think I can figure out why “23”)

Meidas Touch – One more with Charlie Sykes

The Lincoln Project – mot, IMO, their best

Lawrence and Lawrence on MSNBC

Now This News – another everyday hero.

Rob Rogers work in progress

Yes, I know it’s a commercial. Humor me to the end,

Beau – “Let’s talk about ex-cons, self-doubt, and organizing….” is actually for one (anonymous) person – so powerfully that I needed a hanky … and I think it has stuff anyone can learn from

  1. GK rocks!
MT: No. not at all paranoid.
LP: When you look at TOT, he’s so illegal…and full of crap, citing nothing that could be called evidence…but, his foolish followers would not be able to see that.
LT: “Doing his duty.”  TOT would not know duty if it came up and tried to shake his hand.
NT: I just signed Vivian’s petition…googled her name with “petition.”
RR: the interviewer’s conclusion is just what I have said, probably here, maybe elsewhere, about MTG’s modus operandi.
    Subaru: Nice “Whiskers.”
    Beau: Excellent!  And, excellent!

  2. JM: I understand that the Trump malady has now spread to all family members and none of them can recollect a single thing. Their amnesia is complete, so it won’t be much fun for the grand jury to question any of them.

MT: It is a little paranoid. Because if the Republicans take the House in the 2022  elections, then they’ll make sure Biden either never gets to the 2024 elections or that he never wins it. The Electoral College is then only a backstop if everything else has failed.

LP: Nobody should have to look at that.

MSNBC: There you have it, two worlds colliding. One in which the former guy hangs on to being president, or rather dictator, and has his followers believe he still is and one in which the rest of us – and that includes the rest of the world – know that the nutjob lost fair and square. And reality will not set in in Trump’s world until the GQP stops supporting him.

NTN: Kudos to Jamal Samaha and all those who stood with and signed Vivian’s petition to keep Johnson from losing his job because he spoke the truth. But their actions seem to fall on deaf ears. Again.

RR: How wonderful to see one of Rogers’ great cartoons emerge from the political commentary in the background. He must be very new at doing this because Rogers only has 154 subscribers when I looked.

Commercial: What I liked best about it that both Whisker’s rescuer and its ‘parent’ were men instead of the stereotypical female in such situations.

Beau: I do hope the guy with self-doubt Beau is talking to takes the good advice given him and uses it to his advantage. It’s always difficult to tell how well people are going to translate or extrapolate the generic advice to their own situation. Or if they are going to manage it at all without a coach. But it sounds like the guy has picked up enough skills along the way to do and finish the groundwork, so if Beau has increased his self-confidence a bit with this video, he may be quite alright.

    • Rogers is new to YouTube, but not to cartooning.  He very publicly lost his long-time position at a newspaper a few years ago for a cartoon critical of Trump**.  But he must have picked up support through his website to keep him going (I’m guessing through Patreon.)  The guy who posts cartoons daily at Democratic Ungerground posted this yesterday as a preview for today –  I hope he picks up some subscribers from that.
