Democrat Sharice Davids is getting national attention for her congressional campaign in Kansas. She’s openly gay, Native American, the child of a single mother, and a kickboxer.
She’s also outraising her Republican opponent, and has the endorsements of Obama and Biden.

The other Native American woman is running in New Mexico District 1. Her opponent tried to throw shade on her because she WASN’T raised on a reservation (she is from a Pueblo tribe). Of course, we are Democrats, so we can’t possibly do ANYTHING that any Republican would approve of. I surely hope they are BOTH elected!

What Kalny pooped is TOO DAMN FUNNY! Bozos like him are the best allies we have. They make the Rethuglicans look like the creeps and a–holes they are. All the more reason to vote for Ms. Davids – and all other “Demonrats” running for office at every level. The blue wave we need in November may be the last chance we have to save this country from an unstoppable slide into fascism, oppression – and chaos, and open rebellion.
Although I’m donating the greatest to re-elect Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) [she’s mine] – I’ve also crossed over the border and donated to both Laura Kelly (Governor) & Sharice Davids (US Rep) in Kansas.
They both have very good chances of winning in a ruby-red state.
You’re a hero. I hope all three wonderful women win. I really would hate to lose Claire.

FOX News – Bret Baier reported today that Chief Justice Roberts is ordering an investigation into Brett Kavanaugh due to judicial misconduct charges brought by Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson with over a dozen complaints by other judges. Roberts sent a letter to Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit to conduct the investigation into the charges of judicial misconduct.
I read this on Raw Story which had a video of Baier reporting this on his program and a copy of the letter Chief Justice Roberts sent. I posted the story on my blog with links.
Thank you. Heading over there (for anyone who hasn’t checked it out, the name of it is “Tell Me What You Think.”) I’m not as surprised as I might be. Roberts is a real Conservative with all the evil that implies … but he does have a sense of dignity that so many don’t. Both his own, and that of the court.

It would be great if just after the Senate confirmed and seated Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court an investigation started by the Chief Justice himself led to Kavanaugh being ousted from the Supreme Court and being a judge at all.
YVW It’s not impossible but of course there are hurdles. I was just looking over at Daily Kos at this about where it might go and what might happen. I live in the 10th and know one of the judges (not well, just a nodding acquaintance) so I was interested. If you go into the comments I’m “underwriter505” but I didn’t say a lot.

I read about this Republican lowlife in AlterNet two days ago and was totally disgusted! Racism, misogyny, and bigotry all in one post. He must have studied at the knee of Diaper Don and all the other senior Republicans!
