JM: I understand all that but it leaves me with the feeling the very long delays are very much in favour of the insurrectionists and that they are going to get away with it. If that feeling creeps up on me, that may well be the case for those insurrectionists too. The delays certainly will not give pause to all those planning a new insurrection/coup/terrorist act.
MT: Laura Ingraham’s brother definitely cut to the chase when he defined her behaviour as that of a sociopath. They won’t be on speaking terms soon; not that Laura would care much.
LP: They really know how to imitate that fake Trumpian excitement in these ads. The most interesting part was at the end where we’re told that anyone attending a rally has to sign a legal waiver releasing Trump & co from any responsibility should we or a family member die from contracting COVID.
