It’s a painful crappy day here in the CatBox. I finally Republicated and strained so hard that my back is killing me, A day and a half after the increase in my Methadone dose it’s apparent the increase is not enough, and I shall request more when my Providence Nurse is here Monday. Please pray for easier Republication and more effective medication.

Aww….I hope things get better with minimizing your back pain. Hope that your Republication gets better, and also upping your meds for your back. GOP had NO problem in quickly throwing Liz Cheney under the bus for telling the truth. But are fine having MT Greene & Matt “Pedophile” Gaetz amongst them.
TJI #1b -I’m going to disagree with their being liars and hypocrites – they do not rise to that level. To be either, one must recognize what truth is, and they don’t. It’s like counterfeit money – to do that, one must recognize the existence and value of actual money. Ant Republicans – manybe not all, but more than enough to give cover to those who don’t – simply do not recognize truth or, for that matter, consistency. I have to theorize that being raised as a white supremacist can do that, since is it based on a lie and breeds inconsistency. But actual liars and hypocrites can be dealt with, and sometimes reasoned with. Not these people.
TJI #2 – She is a stalker. Remember “Fatal Attraction” and see if she doesn’t just fit right in. She has stalked David Hogg, and now she is stalking AOC. That is, of course, a badge of honor … but some badges of honor are dangerous to have.

I saw an article summary about a woman who asked a police officer for his name, whereupon he grabbed his crotch. I know what I thinkshe should have said – “Sorry, I didn’t catch that. Did you say ‘Dick Johnson,’ or ‘Willibald Peters’?”
Cartoon – Not hard to guess why it ws needed. I’m glad they did it them, since it wouldn’t pass today – one party no longer cares about even the tiniest optics of ethical corruption.
Blast – I suppose we could argue for days about whether or not this song is a shaggy dog story … but, if it is, it’s a long one.The only longer one that I can think of is Asimov’s “Shah Guido G.” which is clearly a shaggy dog story, and says so in its title even.

Sorry to hear that you’re in so much pain today. Too bad you have to wait till next Monday to speak/see your Providence Nurse. Will be praying that the pain eases up for you, Tom.
Do they have therapists who can give your back a nice massage? Or just apply something like Volaren Gel to your back? Or even a heating pad or maybe ice?
Please do rest as much as you can, Tom. Eat and drink your fluids so your body will heal.

I’m sorry, TomCat, but at this stage, it seems your body will neither tolerate any gaps in pain medication taking or too little pain medication. So no more holding off the oxycodone because you’re asleep or increasing the methadone because you want to enjoy the BBQ ribs or the weekend is coming. Let the facilities call your nurse now and tell her you’re in agony and need an increase in methadone now and perhaps more oxycodone too.

The last line is telling, isn’t it? Congressmen kept raising the OWN salaries until 1992. It’s a wonder Republicans haven’t tried to take that one out under the previous guy.
