Ignorance THIS profound has to be cultivated and nurtured. And that’s the role of Fox news, Newsmax, OAN, Breitbart, etc., etc.
Yup, yup, and more yup. Jristi Noem though – well, there are so many – “Nazi Barbie” was trending lately, and I’m sure pertly because there are so many and people wanted to know which. Was it Kayleigh? Ivanka? Laura? maybe Paula? Turned out that – this time – it was Tomi. It’s tough to keep track.
JM: Kirchner hopes the GQP is committing suicide by ousting Cheney and while he said it this lovely button came into view. I thought it nice to have in our collection of images on PP too.
MT: The fact that this ad needed to be made and made public shows that the former guy may be less visible now but the GQP still is the party he symbolises. The GQP is Fascism under a new name. No more, No less.
DWF: A very effective 33 seconds, except for calling the Republican party insane. Brevity is essential in 30 seconds but it’s not the party but its leaders and voters who are collectively insane.
NTN: Critical Race Theory? What a terrible name to give to must-give classes. It put me completely on the wrong foot by having me think that it is a lesson in White Supremacy. So, for White Supremacists, i.e. the GQP, it must be easy to brand it as quite the opposite, let’s say more of a lesson in BLM. But neither my misunderstanding nor the GQP’s willing misinterpretation of the lesson’s content should take away from the shocking fact that far too many states simply rewrite the history lessons to fit the Republican narrative. Apparently, there’s scaringly little “united” in the US as far as history lessons go.
RR: This is incredibly scary. Again typical Democratic complacency is rearing its ugly head. Of course, the real trouble is that in reality, Democrats have nothing like a majority; not while Manchin and Sinema are pretending to sit on the Democratic side of the aisle. I fear that all Biden’s hard work will come to nothing after the mid-terms and his presidency will end up being nothing more than a bump in the road to totalitarianism.
TT: Funny, but we can only hope that “Bad news will never be that good again”.
