The Center for Science in the Public Interest is promoting this video poem on sugar – public health – and slavery

Meidas Touch – McVonnell’s War on America

Now This News. This is what Colorado legislators – and those in many other states – have to deal with. Every. Day.

The Damage Report – Side Effects of Tesr Gas and the like

Armageddon Update – the Big Lie (nothing we don’t know)

Ring of Fire – IMO Farron needs to grasp that real professionals know what their authority is, and that no good comes of trying to exceed it, or to rush things. But aside from that, he makes some good observations.

Now This News – File under “Everything Old Is New Again.” 2000 years ago, they used to be able to flood the arena to stage fake naval battles – ad events where condemned people were set afloat in “romatic” boats, only to be devoured by crocodiles (to loud cheers and much laughter).

Beau on the GOP proving him wrong. Stay with him.

Keith – I love to watch him, yet hate to see a new one because a new one means something awful has happened or is happening.

  1. 400 Years – I gave up soda pop more than a decade ago. I have had only two since – my main drink now is good ol’ water.

Meidas Touch – Bought Bitch Moscow Mitch clearly doesn’t give a s–t about this country or its citizens. If Biden said that oxygen was good, McConnell would hold his breath.

CO Legislature – What a jerk! There is nothing endearing about referring to someone as “Buckwheat.” Or “Pocahontas.” Or “Nanook.”

Damage Report – have these long-term effects of tear gas always been around, or has the formula changed? Or is it a matter of other circumstances?

Armageddon Update – Is it yet time to declare the GOP dead? Liz Cheney may be no saint, but the GOP’s treatment of her for admitting the truth is compelling evidence that we can stick a fork in it.

Ring of Fire – Sure looks as though the GOP has passed the point of no return. We need at least two new real parties – we can’t be a one-party country. The Democrats need competition.

Now This News – It will be fun to see just how deep the s–t Rudy and his cohorts are in.

Beau – Refusing to get your COVID jab is incredibly selfish. What the hell happened to taking one for the team? My arm was sore as hell after both shots, but a few hours of pain sure beat spending one’s last hours on a ventilator – or worse, causing somebody else to do so.

Keith – Would be funny AF if it wasn’t so close to truth.

    • I don’t know what the story is for sure on the – I’m going to say hormonal – effects of tear gas.  I do remember that when I was in OCS and Basic training, we were exposed to tear gas as part of the training … and also that I didn’t have a period until training was over, when they resumed.  I didn’t give it much thought at the time – the training was so rigorous as to distract me, so I really didn’t notice until afterwards.  Mine were always irregular, of course, because I unknowingly had endometriosis, and I did not notice them being any more irregular after training than before.  So the best I can give you is a definite maybe – and this is all anecdotal anyway.

  2. I just now got to see this, it is late on the E. coast, and it’s been along day.  I’m going to say”Ditto” to Freya’s comments, which help me ascertain what the videos are about, aside from Joanne’s comments.

    • I do try to give y’all some idea – unless that woul be a spoiler – and, if so, I try to hint at rhat fact.

I also deeply appreciate Freya’s comment!

And – if any one doesn’t have tome now – itwill still be here.

  3. CSPITV: Impressive poem with a message that needs hearing, Te Speight.

MT: He stood up to Obama in much the same way, but with a COVID-crisis on their hands, standing up to Biden and therefore to America is even more despicable.

NTN: I pity those people who have to work with this cowardly weasel. And the speaker wasn’t much help either.

DR: There may be more ‘brands’ of teargas out there and its composition may have changed, so an independent in-depth investigation into what is in them and the consequences of inhaling them needs to be called for.

AU: Titus made his point again too loud and at too high a baud rate but he was spot on, which he usually is. But the GQP will get rid of Cheney and will continue as before, pretending nothing has happened and they’re not in their death throes. And their base will love them for it.

ROF: Well, it is absurd what is happening in Arizona, so Farron’s wish that someone would take the lead and start investigating this, which would cost Arizona’s taxpayers even more money BTW, and put an end to this travesty is quite understandable.

MT: Those guys are really milking Cohen’s contribution, aren’t they?

Beau: How strange that Beau never noticed that the only thing Republicans are good at is projection and that is exactly because they can only think about themselves. They have the selfishness and the world view of a toddler and that is why they flock to the former guy because he’s the apotheosis of it.

KO: I fear that Keith is spot on.

  4. Thanks JD, 35

Sadly I’m much too tired and in much too much pain to attend to vids.

  5. All excellent videos.
I emphasize with what KO’s words are about what the R’s are doing.
Slime them one and all. They deserve it.

    Thanks for your post, Joanne.
