It’s a sweaty day hear in the CatBox.  Yesterday, after I finally Republicated, I spent most of the day either sleeping or sweating.  WWWendy us planning to visit later this afternoon, and I have a pants-load of end-of-the-month paperwork to finish.  I hope it works out.  Please be patient with any glitches.

  1. Cartoon: Sadly, they are ‘par for the course’ unfortunately!
BFTP: Saw them in concert years ago, one of my favorite bands, and good songs.
Glad that you Republicated, that’s always good news!! (It’s always a GOOD day when that happens).
HI, WWWendy, hope all is well with you, and thank YOU for taking care of TC. Hope that you have a good day, take good, good care, and Thanks! for all you do, Tom.

    • TJI#1: I’ve seen that before, and find that it makes a lot of sense.
TJI#2: If these clowns were not in gerrymandered, and otherwise “selected” districts, they might not be so willing to show just how ridiculous the are.
TJI#3: They have nothing else to work with, certainly not brains, so they play, somewhat wisely, it does seem, to the dumbest of their anxiety ridden crowd.
TJI#4: Is this McCarthy related to the there one…of “Have you no decency?” infamy?
TJI#5: Tucker and pulmonology, as in hot hot air?  He is really working racism and other imbecility to the end.
      TJI#6: Wonderful!

    • TJI #3 – Jeff’s epithets are getting longer and more decorated. He must be getting more frustrated (I certainly am.)
TJI #5 – Oh my.  Dr. Gupta does it well.
TJI #^ – I imagine it was. Chokes me up a little to empathize with that joy.

  2. Did McConnell come out, this time?
‘Toon: Yeah, and I’ll bet He was a heck of a lot darker than “your” version!

  3. Well, I certainly hope your visit with Wendy istotally wonderful – for both of you actually – and that your day continues well.

If you don’t know, or don’t remember, who Reality Winner is, she’s a whistleblower who tried to warn us that Russian interference in 2016 was real. And of course she is locked up. Here’s a petition for her release.

So, I don’t know whether this will work or not. I received a puff email yesterday from my Congressman, touting that he has received a 100% favorable rating from the Heritage Foundation (higher than any other Colorado Congresscritter, which surprised me a little, because we also have Buck and Boebert.) So I responded, pointint out he had also received an”F” grade from The Republican Accountability Project, adding the link. And I actually remembered to use “Reply All.” I couldn’t tell whether it actially did … but I tried. I guess it didn’t, since I quickly checked email including spam, and there are no obvious death threats.

Cartoon -they certaily did. And it didn’t even take them long.

Blast – I am hoping for better moons now … but genies don’t go back into bottles as fast as one would wish

    • Hi Joanne,
Are you doing a video thread today?  I ask because I just saw what must be the next Glenn K. video, and it is, as usual, a good one.

      • I see you found it.  Yes, sometimes I get it up earlier than other times.  I put one up today with GK and I have another loaded for tomorrow., so I think we’re covered.  He certainly speaks highly of Merrick Garland, doesn’t he!

  4. Cartoon: Awful.
BFTP: Great song by CCR. I agree with Joanne’s comment, I too am looking forward to better Moons.
I can relate to you sweating, it’s in the mid 90’s here. Hope you had a nice visit with Wendy.
Sure hope you can get all of your paperwork done. I can’t believe it’s already going to be May 1 tomorrow.
Have a nice restful afternoon/evening. Take care.

  5. I hope you had a nice day with WWWendy, despite all the paperwork you had to finish, TomCat. Don’t mind the glitches, don’t sweat it, enjoy instead.

BFTP: Another great song of CCR. My English was in the learning stage when this song came out and I heard “There’s a bad moon on the Right” instead of “on the rise”. And I’m still hearing that. Why would that be?

  6. Thanks and weekend hugs to all!
