As I type, it is only about 10:30 am in Portland – which would have been more than enough time for TC to have posted normally, but quite possibly not enough time for a computer tech to have arrived, or, having arrived, to have finished. I’m going to put up the video thread early and wait before putting up a placeholder.

I know I’ve been kind of pushing Glenn Kirschner, and his videos run longish (this one is 9 minutes), but he is so articulate and really knows the Constitution, I find every second I spend with him is educational and profitable.  The Fourth Amendment, people.

Really American – “Teen Love”

Liberal Redneck J&J vaccine

John Fugelsang is really on a roll! “The Matt Gaetz Prison Podcast”

Parody Project (and TFT) respond to YouTube taking down their video not too long ago. Brilliant. Also, a link to a new location!

Beau – President Biden is nominating many extremely qualified people, including some whose credentials are not exactly expected (spoiler: and probably better than the usual.) This pick is a case in point.

  1. Thanks for your patience.  I have a Zoom meeting this afternoon, and I have planned to watch tonight’s streaming opera (I  have seen the abridged version but not the whole thing in this production before.)  That doesn’t mean I won’t be checking back.

  2. This is Wendy posting for TC.  We have the computer up and running again, but due to a significant amount of pain and discomfort I will not be online today.  May take me a few days to be up and running again.  I will be back online as soon as I can.  Hopefully within 3 or 4 days.

    • Sorry to hear that TomCat is suffering with so much pain and discomfort. Please tell him to take it easy and rest as much as he needs to. No need to rush, Joanne has been keeping up with the site.
I will continue praying that TC gets well soon.
Nice to hear that the computer setup is taken care of.
Thanks again, Wendy for all that you’ve been doing. Bless you for you being there for TC.
Take care. Have a nice day.

    • Good news!

Of course it will be better news when TC is up to posting but I certainly understand.

Please take all the time you need.

    • Thanks for posting for TomCat, WWWendy.

Moving is something that takes its toll on many different levels and it must have been especially hard on your body and mind, Tomcat. Even though you sleep in your own bed, resting is difficult in new surroundings. So take all the time you need, dear friend, and come back to us when you’re ready.

    • Completely understood.  Pace yourself, treat yourself well.  Thanks for the update.

  3. GK: Sad. I agree with his comments. Didn’t have to happen with any of these abuses. So sad !!
RA: Good grief. Go back under the rock whence you came from, gaetz.
    Trae: Good one.
    JF: Well done!
    PP: Yep!
Beau: An excellent pick. Congratulations, Ms. Wormuth!

    Thank you, Joanne for post.

    • Hi, TomCat and Wendy:
Glad that you are back online.
Thank you so much for filling me (us) in!

Take all the time you need.. to care for your health, and to quell your pain and discomfort so that you can get back online. Don’t rush anything, take your time, rest, and take good, good care, TC.
Wendy, you are a sweet Blessing for Tom. Thank you! 17

Tom, get your rest…you are a Blessing, period.   23

  4. JM: For me, Kirschner falls in the Beau category: knowledgeable, educational, eloquent and above all controlled yet passionate.

RA: Gaetz, a true chip off the old Trump block, not above lying about who supports him.

    LR: It’s worth a shot 33

JF: Excellent imitation/parody of a very pathetic Gaetz.

Beau: I needed some education on this pick, so thank you.

  5. JM: So well, inadequately, but  passionately, presented.
RA: The last bit of class Gaetz might, I say “Might”, have had, went out with his one year’s old diaper!
LR: I’d just as soon say, “won’t take the shot?  Bye, then.”
    JF: Well done!
    PP: Saw that yesterday; wonderful.
Beau: Competence?  No revolving door issues?  No conflicts of interest?  What the hell is Biden looking for, reasoned governance, or something?

  6. Welcome Home!

Take your time.  We’ll all just be sitting on the front porch enjoying our sarsaparillas.

(In all honesty, I have never tasted a sarsaparilla or know much about them.  But it’s a fun word!)

    • It’s a precursor of modern root beer, and from what I can determine through reading, taste much like it.

If you’re persistent (and with a little luck) you can find birch beer, which is similar but a little milder.  Also a tad less sweet.  I quite like it on occasion.  Thanks for reminding me.

  7. General Question:

I’d like to know if Matt Gaetz surname is pronounced: [1] Gates or [2] Getz or something else?

(Although my hearing is pretty much gone, I can still speak fairly well.  And I’d just as soon not make any egregious errors.)
