Meidas Touch “Normal”

Now This News – and while we are on the subject…

Robert Reich testifies

Unlike the “Really American” videos (which i am not dissing – they are just different), you can tell Glenn Kirschner is angry on his own show by what he says – calmly.

Lawrence takes a song to discuss immigration and land ownership … and opens up a real can of worms (including some whoopass for the GOP.) Brilliant.

  1. MT: I go through the posts as they are posted in time. My remark made on your own comment on gun-reform and voting laws (Your “return to normal” is staggering, America. We Down Under look on in awe.) was therefore made before I saw this MT ad. There’s nothing left for me to say.

NTN: All were Republicans and all were paid.

RR: Of course, Reich and Sanders have earned their respect as spokesmen on the economy and its relationship to power through their long state of service and experience, but it would be so good if their place was taken up by young(er) people who are equally knowledgeable, competent and above all inspiring to young people. Because, while both Sanders and Reich are heard by younger members in their audience, they speak from our and their own past for the future of the young. What is needed now are influential politicians who speak for their own future and that of the young.

JM: The scariest thing about this whole affair is that it left me with the impression that Michael Sherwin is still in the pockets of the previous guy and thinks he’ll get away with flaunting the rules and undermining the DOJ to serve his former boss. And what’s worse, he probably will. The previous guy can still wreak a great deal of havoc with Republicans on his side.

MSNBC: As always, Lawrence give the harsh but true story behind one of the many crises the Republicans are trying to fabricate and gain traction with. But however true or harsh, that will not prevent the GOP from hanging on to their spin for dear life. Because it is exactly that which depends on this narrative.

  2. Thanks JD. 35

    Too little 26.

    Too much 💩.

  3. MT: The U. s. is “Exceptional” in FAR too many sick ways!
NT: they all need to go.  Bilirakis is my rep., in Fl., and we are in Trump country; bastard.
    RR: Always spot-on.
JM: Being a trump appointee, now a “leftover,” one could expect only deviance, and scumbaggery from him.
MSNBC: The GOP has had no interest in compassion and humanity since Nixon’s time, despite their claim to be in favor of “Family Values”, and soooo Christian.  I’m sorry, but nothing on this earth was “drawn by God.”
Beau: Conflicts of interest?  Us?  Ha!

    • You remind me of the time in Okinawa when I had been speaking with an infantry company commander who had had to discipline his men for failure to wear their gas masks.  One of my neighbors said something about “The Marines are OUTSTANDING!”  I laughed and said, “Yes indeed – out standing tin the sun with their gasmasks filling up with sweat to teach them a lesson!”
