Beau is correct. there have been some very good, worthy, congress people, an edit would be a shame to see any of them have to leave because of term limits, as we..
Keith: Indeed, he is correct! This dovetails with Beau’s point, it is up to the voter to unelect these bastards, IF the DOJ does not. But, certainly, too many people vote for a party rather than a person who stands for decency and healthy policy.
I also agree with Beau. Non-engaged voters enable corrupt incompetent politicians, just as lazy supervisors enable incompetent dishonest employees.
I vaguely remember the story WRT Trump calling a real COVID hospital annex as “fake” – and thereby claiming the pandemic a “hoax”. But he tells so many non-stop lies it’s hard to keep track of them all.

The more I see of Katie Porter the more I WANT to see of her! She’s definitely a rising star with a sharp mind and a sharp tongue that she knows how to use to skewer republicans.
The “Sound of Music” reprise of “So Long, Farewell” is absolutely wonderful! I was in high school when in came out, so I can remember the tune. Very well done!

I have read that, for a Congressperson, especially a Representative, the toughest election is the second one.After you’ve had a second term, you reap the benefita of incumbency, and that gets better each election (all things being equal. So you’ll be glad to be reminded that Katie was just reelected for the first time. I am not suggesting we get complacent – but I am saying there’s grounds for hope
NT1: Thinking out of the box to save lives. Kudos to all who work in this ‘fake’ hospital and accomplished this.
