Yesterday, Joe Biden announced that he has selected Kamala Harris to be his running mate against Resident Donald Trump, criminal Fuhrer of the Nazi Republican Fifth Reich, and Vice-Resident Mike Pence, homophobic, misogynous, pseudo-Christian Hate Monger. I’m sure we’ll have much more about her as time passes.

I’m very pleased with his choice. I see her as intelligent, well, wait, all of those in pool of choices are that. I wrote that as my brain saw the imbecilic face of the Palintwit from Alaska. I’m not sure he could have had a “bad” choice, but was a bit concerned about Warren. Picking her would have overloaded the ticket to the North-East, and financial groups would have rallied against her. If he picks her for Treasury Secretary, I would be tickled!
the chaperone joke has been floating around for a bit. She will wipe Pence off the ma in any 1:1 debate. If there will be one, I will not miss watching it. I hope Biden does not debate the Orange Pustule, but backs away from such thing by citing Dumpy’s obsessive lying.
I was vacillating between Sen. Harris and Amb. Susan Rice – but the more I learn of the baggage Rice was burdened with, it became clear that Sen. Harris was my first choice.
My main concern deals with the relatively lackluster campaign management [Left Out – Added] she ran. But she really tore Kavanaugh apart – and that’s a HUGE Plus!
One point that might not be so trivial it turns out to be a close race is her Asian Indian background. There are a number of swing states that have significant Asian Indian populations:

North Korea thinks Mike Pence has warmth and charm? Is this the same Hoosier mortician I’m familiar with? I was going to say they are hallucinating, and then I remembered they are probably comparing him to Kim Jong Un.
I too was sort of between Harris and Rice. The baggage, I think, is mostly in the heads of Republicans – but just because it’s imaginary doesn’t mean they wouldn’t make it a yooge distraction. But what really made me think Kamala was realizing how much foreign policy experience Joe himself has from his long career. He will, of course, need foreign policy wonks in the State Department because one person can’t do everything, but he doesn’t need one as VP.
Anyone who truly cares about the world and its future must remember “Don’t Let Perfect Be the Enemy of Good”…and Vote Biden-Harris, sadly I heard several so called “progressive” or “liberal” leaning talk show hosts on the radio belittling Kamala Harris and Biden for picking her, belittling them for doing the jobs of the people and their constituents in the past, and encouraging people to either sit out or vote 3rd party…
Any vote not for Biden-Harris is a vote for Trump-Pence which means going backwards, going to dictatorship, and dooming our children, grandchildren, and all future generations…all lives….

If Biden is partnering up with Harris the way Obama partnered up with him, i.e. sparring on issues and Biden listening to her, then this team may give the US a push back in the right direction if they win the election.
Yes, “if”. Because no matter who had gotten the Democratic nomination and no matter who they had chosen as their running mate, there always would have been some Democrats who are not happy with the outcome. And only if Democrats stand united behind these two and vote for them no matter what, will the “if” become a “when”.
