It’s a busy day here in the CatBox. I’m tired, because I had to get up at 2:00 AM to Republicate. Today’s high is forecast at 105°. It’s a WWWendy day. Expect me to be scarce early next week. I’ll be here tomorrow. Tuesday I’ll be at the hospital most of the day getting another PET Scan. Wednesday is another WWWendy day, plus I’ll be doing the mountain of paperwork to renew my apartment lease. On the 1st I will have been here a year, but there was 120 lbs. more of me, when I moved in. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Update on Donavan LaBella. I’m guessing that CoViD is a factor in releasing him – my impression is that head injuries like that require longer close medical supervision ordinarily.
I already have more masks than I am ever likely to use, but dayum, this is tempting.
Cartoon – Not yet, they haven’t, and there are now people fighting for it. The problem with destroying something that means so much to so many people is that eventually you have to come out into the oen, and then people fight you.
Map – I don’t think even my county will manage to force the schools into opening. At least I hope not.

‘Toon: the Repugs have traditionally wanted to privatize the USPS, so they could make money out of it for themselves. Now, their first agenda is to do away with it so they can more easily manipulate the coming election.

That sort of Mo-Town does not move me.
Aside from Russian and Repug voter fraud, Trump got into office riding on a racist platform, all but repeating the old “Black Power gonna get your Momma!” theme, scaring working class, uneducated whites about being displaced to the bottom social rung by the African-Americans and those “others.” And, that’s his message, again. Research has found that “social displacement” anxiety is more powerful than economic anxiety.
Normally I would congratulate someone on losing 120 lbs of their weight because they would have worked hard for it to happen. But your weight loss isn’t voluntary, TomCat and therefore all the more shocking. Though the goop can’t be very appetizing, I hope you still have an appetite and don’t have to force yourself to eat to keep your strength up. I hope with all my heart you’ll be able to do that for a longe time yet, dear friend.
