From The New Yorker: The firestorm of controversy swirling around the upcoming tell-all book by the President’s niece exploded on Tuesday, after Vladimir Putin revealed that he took the SATs for Donald J. Trump.
Putin said that he had hoped to keep his role in Trump’s college admission a secret, but, with the impending publication of Mary Trump’s book, “it was only a matter of time before the truth came out.”
The Russian President said that, when young Donald Trump was applying to college, in the nineteen-sixties, Putin was making “a few extra rubles” by offering his services as a test-taker to wealthy but academically hopeless American high-school students.

MSNBC – As Joy says, nothing new to anyone who is awake. But we have simply got to get over this illusion that publicizing facts will correct the record. Even the most intellignt of us are hard wired to disregard anythong which conflicts with what we already think – it requires great effort and honesty to get past that. Trump supporters? Phblt! Never gonna happen.

MSNBC: I actually saw this, last night, and was very pleased that it went out on national TV. Not that those who most need to hear this would have been watching! Trump’s favorite word, “Hoax,” is little other than a complete projection of his entire life. But, in the book, as I have read, is the story of how his traitor grandfather even lied in his statements for getting american citizenship. So, we have still more evidence of an intergenerational process creating the subtitle for Mary Trump’s book!

Pavlovitz: They have “revealed it,” and done us something of a favor, by showing us who the real enemy is. Coming to PP is part of dealing with the situation.

TNY: As if we didn’t know already that Putin is so much smarter than Trump, Andy.
MSNBC: So Mary Trump dots the i’s and crosses the t’s of Trump’s psychopathy we already knew about but don’t think for one minute that this will change anything. His base will continue to believe his lies, including the one about this book because these lies are exactly what they want to hear. These lies fit their internal narrative, and they don’t want to hear they’ve been lied to, i.e. that their moral code sucks.
