I was so wiped out the rest of the day yesterday that, except for a small supper, I went back to bed all yesterday afternoon and evening. Then I overslept two hours this morning and still feel very tired. But I had a better appetite at breakfast. Have a Republican-free day.

From The New Yorker: One week after the United States Senate returned to session, Senator Susan Collins, of Maine, said that she would self-quarantine to avoid possible contact with decisions.
Collins said that she had hoped to safely distance herself from any decisions while at the Senate but feared that the risk of accidental exposure to a decision was too great.
“I was troubled and concerned by how many decisions there were,” she said. “It did not feel safe to me.”
Collins said that she would self-quarantine until she is confident that the danger of being in the vicinity of a decision had clearly passed.
Dang, Andy! Was there ever a time that Collins’ did not test negative for integrity, whenever she makes decisions? RESIST!!

Hillary Clinton would not have been a great POTUS, but her response to COVID-19 would have made one helluva lot more sense. Not only that, she wouldn’t have pulled us out of the Paris Accords, or demanded a wall along the border with Mexico – or stared at an eclipse with unprotected eyes.
Glad you had a better appetite this morning. Don’t eat any wooden Republicans! Just saying.

Travelling, chemo and disrupting your routine take their toll on your already compromised body, so it must be unpleasant but no surprise to you that it is difficult to get on top of your tiredness, TomCat. Take each day as it comes and continue to take however much rest you need. Wonderful to hear that your appetite is getting a little better, you need to keep up your strength.

Update: Isn’t it ironic that Trump and Putin are now battling it out over who has handled the pandemic worse, America or Russia? Russia’s catching up in the number of cases, adding more than 10,000 a day a few days in a row and Russia now has the second-largest number of confirmed cases.
TNY: Well, that would be the last we’ve heard from Collins; her self-quarantine will last her a lifetime if she wants to avoid those deeply troubling decisions.
MSNBC: Let’s hope Obama can rattle Trump’s case so much when campaigning for Biden that the fake president explodes with rage and makes even a bigger fool of himself than he has now. If that’s even possible.
