A feel-good story
Cartoon – Is there a right cabin, or a right place, for Republicans to live in? I think not. Today’s Republicans don’t belong, period.

NYT – As well written and detailed as this ism I think the simplest word for Barrf is “insolent.” May he soon bbe on the receiving end of insolence.
SNL – Actually, the Obamas are doing a virtual graduation ceremony – I didn’t read any of the details, but I did see that. (Of course, there is no way that the real Trump* could ever make a speech that coherent.) As for voting, given the way some Catholic hierarchy members are talking, I would say that the one guy who voted for Trump* as their speaker is probably the son of a bishop.
Past – Was that the last album Yusuf made as Cat Stevens, or just one of the last? I’ve always liked him. And, yes, I remember this song (and how appropriate today – at least the title.)

All insolent people are assholes. Not all assholes are insolent, though many are. So you’re right, asshole is the simplest. Insolent describes what kind of asshole.

NYT: Trump was lauding Barrf for his action the way Hitler praised Göbels or Göring, as part of his ‘men’, not as an independent attorney general, head of an independent justice department.
SNL: Brilliant parody even if taped from home. Loved the way “the crowd” thinned out.
BFTP: Love this song, but then I love all Cat Stevens’ songs, spending most of my pocket/job money on this album and the four he released afterwards. Then my interests turned elsewhere. Wild World is perhaps his most covered song and very appropriate in these times, but I like Father and Son from the same album just a little better.
