It’s another sickly day, here in the CatBox.  I could not keep breakfast down, but eventually the burn eased off enough for me to work.  It’s a WWWendy day, and it’s been so muggy here, that I need de-stinking in the worst way.  Happy Hump Day!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 5:08 (average 7:14).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Cartoon:

I made this cartoon when Crawford Caligula was Resident.  Republicans are even worse on jobs now.

Short Takes:

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Entire Roger Stone Prosecution Team Quits Case In Protest

Now that criminal Fuhrer Trump knows he can get away with abusing his power, he’s setting off on a new crime spree. And whenever the AG hears his master’s voice, Barrf Barrfs! Kudos to the prosecutor who quit DOJ! I hope the Democratic President rehires him in Jan.  RESIST!!

From YouTube: Bloomberg’s ‘stop-and-frisk’ comments resurface

Even if Bloomberg were not a proven racist, as the tape demonstrates so clearly, he should not be allowed to buy a chance to win the Democratic Nomination.  RESIST!!

From YouTube (a blast from the past): Van Morrison – Brown Eyed Girl (Original Version)

Vote Blue!!

Ah… the memories!  RESIST!!

  1. Cartoon: Now..THAT….is the best representation of the R’s yet!! Good one!
MSNBC: Unreal. No honor anywhere with dt or the R’s. It’s a disgrace and unfair, and a miscarriage of justice that he’s even a ‘resident’ in the WH and with Barr’s ‘findings’. That’s the injustice that they don’t care about.  Kudos to those prosecutors who stood up for Justice, and Honor. Bless them all.
YT: Wow!, I hadn’t heard that. Bloomberg should get on the R ticket re: these comment(s). This has no place in politics, people’s lives or representative of the WH. Even tho’dt says it all the time. ugh!
    BFTP: Good dancing music!

Hi, Wendy!!! I sure do hope that you get better, have you called the dr for a med(s) to make you feel better? It’s been a few days now. Hope it goes away for you too. Take good care, enjoy your day (try) and get your rest. Thanks, Tom.

*This just in: Re: Stone sentencing – I pray that Judge Berman gets full protection re: this case. *pb
    2. “There is also the point that a person pardoned for a crime is no longer able to use the 5th to avoid testifying because they are no longer a risk for that crime. I don’t think dt wants to risk having Stone become a witness again.” ~ Dan H. ~
    3. “dt is clearly hesitant to pardon (I don’t know him) Stone and is afraid he’ll seek revenge on him. Yeah, I know. dt’s very afraid.” ~signed, Michael Cohen ~
    4. “I long to live in a country where people never feel like resigning because they have integrity. (3 Roger Stone prosecutors resign from case after DoJ back pedals on sentencing recommendations by dt, & barr. ~ anon ~

  2. 7:55 A rocky relationship

I received my ballot for the Presidential Primary yesterday (the rest of the Primary will be voted on in June). There were seventeen candidates on the ballot, to wit
    Cory Booker
    Pete Buttigieg
    Tulsi Gabbard
    Bernie Sanders
    Elizabeth Warren
    Amy Klobuchar
Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente III
    Michael Bennet
    Marianne Williamsno
    Deval Patrick
    Michael R Bloomberg
    Robby White
    Andrew Yang
    Joseph R Biden
    Tom Steyer
    Rita Krichevsky
    Jokn K Delaney
They were in that order. I have no idea how they determined the order. the first five are in alphabetical order, but, after that, it’s all over the map.

Cartoon – That must have been fun to make.

MSNBC – So, all four quit the case, but only one quit the DIO. That was being hard to find. Thanks. Judge Berman is free to go by the statutory sentencing guidelines, but I don’t know what those are. I do hope she comes down hard. For contempt of court alone he deserves 7-9, IMNSHO. BTW, he is also calling on the military to “discipline” LTC Vindman – for what , I don’t know. I really hope the military tells Traitor Tot to go … whatever.

ABC – I don’t like Bloomberg. I don’t want him as President. But I do like his ad campaign and it is getting results. (I’m sure no one is in any doubt whose name was marked on my ballot, which goes into the mail today.)

    Past – I remember it.

  3. ‘Toon: Perfect!  But it did not stop the Liar in Chief from having banners hung at a recent rally proclaiming “JOBS!” all over the place.
MSNBC: And, yesterday, an otherwise nice fellow with whom I am acquainted said “I like what Trump has done for the country.”  WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I want to see someone with more computer skills than I have, come up with a meme of the American flag with a banana superimposed on it!
    Y/T: How about that?
BFTP: Wonderful song.  And, my wife has those wonderful brown eyes!

  4. Cartoon: Perfected said and illustrated. They’ve done nothing.
MSNBC: Despicable what happened yesterday. He should of not been Letting all these evil villains get away with high crimes.
YT: Agree money should not take over the election or the sit.
    BFTP: Great tune.
Sure hope you get to feeling better. Tell Wendy “hello”. Hope you both get your tasks completed.
Just a quick note, that my son, his wife, a friend and I are going to go to Disneyland tomorrow, Leaving later today to get a couple of rooms up near it tonight, so we can hit Disneyland early. We won the passes months ago. So I figured since I will be going for my EKG and blood work next Thursday February 20 then have the partial vulvectomy surgery the following Friday, February 28th. Then I will be recovering and not able to enjoy much, for 6-8 weeks.
    Take care. Thanks TomCat

    • Colleen,
Hope that you have a wonderful, memorable day at Disneyland.
It’s a fun place! and so are the shows.
Memories will be made, and that’s the important thing.
Best to you on your upcoming surgery.
      Take good care too.

    • I was going through every key chain I own lately, and I came across one shaped like a 200 year old doubloon that said “Disneyland * Pirates of the Caribbean * Military Appreciation Day.”  And I remember.  That had to be in 1969.    I went with a MSgt whom everyone in the office adored – in fact, we all gave her a huge surprise birthday party later that year.  Pat is right.  memories will be made.  I hope the trip goes well and also that the surgery goes well (though not as much fun.)

      • Colleen,
I feel the same way about this page, with friends from the old care 2 and PP being family.
Best to you, take care, and for heaven’s sake,….HAVE FUN & have a  BLAST!
        And take time to recuperate…

BFTP:  I was stationed @NAS JAX back when Disney Orlando was being built. A bunch of us gals from the barracks got wind of Disney hiring at the new resort, so we applied. I applied for Snow White (job) and several others for different characters. I think there were about 10 of us at the time. I did not get the position, but one did !! I forget which character, but it was a blast applying. I used to have the letter from Disney saying I didn’t get the job, but it’s gone now.
A ticket cost about $3.00 for the day back then, I think. I don’t know how much it was for the military getting in.
Lona, Thank you for the vid.
Joanne: Ahh,…the memories. Thanks for sharing.

    • Have a great time at Disneyland, and heal quickly from the surgery you have coming.  35

If you run into Mickey Mouse, have him for lunch for my sake! 😼

  5. Thanks so much Pat. I appreciate your caring thoughts. Feel like we are all a big family since we’ve been interfacing all of these years on Care2 and Open Thread.

  6. 5:18 No Valentine for me.

Cartoon: According to Trump his space is chockablock, all due to him.

MSNBC: When I first read about this yesterday, Democrats were lamenting that America was turning into a banana republic. What nonsense! America has been a banana republic for quite some time now. Trump and his cronies are just dotting the “i”s and crossing the “t”s. With most of the year left, they’ll have everything in place by November and ensure the country remains an autocracy after 2020.

ABC: Bloomberg is just a Trumpian wolf in Democratic sheep’s clothing. His ego is all that counts.

BFTP: Thanks, TomCat. I was a great fan of Van the Man then and still am. He keeps on making great music. In 1989 he wrote one of the finest lovesongs “Have I told you lately” which was originally written as a prayer.

To all my friends here for Valentine’s Day

  7. Thanks and hurry hugs to all! 26
