The Art Of Health Care Haggling
My Medicare Advantage company owns my hospital, and they pay for virtually everything. But it should cover things it doesn’t: dental, vision, hearing, long term nursing home (when needed), and, if Trump steals the White House again, psychiatric care.
I, and the one tooth I have left, thank you for taking this stand.

I – “Why would Democrats hire a company named Shadow?” That’s a good question. I’ve read suggestions, which I won’t repeat without proof.
II – Entirely too close to reality. And yes, mental health care should be included in general health care always.
III – “Why would you want to go to someone less than a real dentist?” Because if you go to a real dentist, that’s what you’ll get anyway – oral hygienists do the real work.
IV – Watching election returns come in is a;ways a roller coaster ride. TC, since you are having nausea issues already, maybe you should wait. Unlike Steve, you’re not getting paid to do it.

Iowa caucus was trolled by Drumph’s supporters. They flooded the phone hot lie and precincts couldn’t call in.
The caucus should be eliminated. Return to primaries, Iowa!
If Donald Judas Trump’s speech represents the state of the US, Americans are truly screwed. But then with the last 3 years under your belt, you guys already know that. Good on Nancy Pelosi for her comment on the SOTU!
Health care — I’ll keep mine! As a diabetic, my provincial care covers vision examinations once per year unless results indicate more frequent follow-up. Psychiatric care is covered but psychological care is not. Of course, if you are lucky enough to have retired with full benefits from your employer, you may have additional coverage. Here in BC, we have Pharmacare which helps with prescription drug costs and it is based on your annual income. Nationally, pharmacare is provincially regulated so the coverage is varying. The federal government is trying to put together a national plan to smooth out the bumps with the provincial health ministries.
I read that Tom Perez is calling “on the Iowa Democratic Party to immediately begin a recanvass.” as reported in the LA Times. It certainly seems like a “shit blizzard” if you ask me. Has anybody checked to see if Donald Judas Trump had anything to do with it? He is really crowing about it from what I have seen.
Actually, the Republican Reich have been calling to tie the lines party workers use to interfere with vote counting.
And that surprises who? Judas yaps about rigged elections but it is his Republican party, Russian agent provocateurs and their ignorant minions that are doing the rigging. The more they are discovered, the more he yaps!
It’s late, I’ve had a couple of appointments today. Will watch it in the morning.
