It’s a sick day here in the CatBox. I felt hungry this morning and ate too much too fast. BIG mistake. The heartburn is so severe that I can’t concentrate to do research, so I need to return to bed. Please expect no more than a Personal Update from me tomorrow, as it’s a busy WWWendy day.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 4:59 (average 4:13). To do it, click here. How did you do?

Oh, no! So sorry/concerned on reading your note…
Hope that you get better real soon, TC, and get your rest too.
Take good, good care of yourself, see you tomorrow.
Hope your recovery time is measured in mere minutes. Take good care of yourself.
4:11 I like vultures. They are so much more principled than Republicans (not that that is a challenge.)
The Lincoln Project is a group of conservative Never-Trumpers. How Never-Trumper are they? Well, this is a quote from their website: ” Electing Democrats who support the Constitution over Republicans who do not is a worthy effort.” THAT Never-Trumper. Also this:
Cartoon – Yup. I have some gun graphics, but I made one specifically for the playoffs and will use it.
Do take care of yourself. It’s positive that you know what you did wrong and have learned from it. But it’s still a bad thing for you to feel as bad as you do. I sure wish there were painless ways to learn things.
The Lincoln Project seems to want to have the GOP turn back to long-gone times when true conservatives recognised themselves in the party’s values. The Lincoln Project apparently represents those Republicans who have turned their back on the GOP because they don’t recognise the party any more.
There are conservatives with whom I respectfully disagree in many subjects. But I have no respect for what the Party has become today.
Ouch! Hope it subsides quickly. I find ginger tea does wonders for gas and other GI distress–my doctor recommended it years ago, reminding me that flat ginger ale was the recommendation for morning sickness in the 1980’s…
Thanks, JL. I tried it. Ginger makes mine worse!
Sorry to read that you aren’t doing well, TomCat.
I had been out of commission all week and was hoping to see good news on you.
I’ll be praying that you got some rest and doing better soon.
Don’t you have test coming up this Tuesday January 13th?
My update: I got the wrap off my left hand yesterday. the stitches will be taken out on January 21. The upper respiratory infection is still causing me major problems. Chest congestion with constant coughing. My electrolytes had been down, so I had to redo blood work yesterday. I go back to see my primary doctor Monday morning at 11:00. Will be glad when it gets out of my system.I’ve missed posting. Hopefully I can work my way back slowly.
Please take care and get to feeling better, TC.
Thanks TomCat
I hope you get better soon too, Colleen.
I pray that we are BOTH better soon!
So sorry to hear about your
Maybe this advice will help a little bit
2:47: Vultures get such a bad rap but in fact are very useful in cleaning up and preventing the spread of disease. I’m talking about the birds, of course, not Republicans.
Thanks Lona. I always do. My right side is stump-side up, and very uncomfortable.
Thanks and Hugs to all!
