It’s a busy day here in the CatBox. I like the new keyboard, but the size and layout are unfamiliar, so it will take a few days to get used to it. Providence Home Medical Equipment just changed their policy. They say I need to take their huge oxygen backup tank in case of system failure, or they’ll take my oxygen concentrator. The problem is that there is no place in the CatBox to put it. So I think I’ll have to buy an oxygen concentrator for around $700 or more. ARGH! I want to finish as early as I can to get a partial nap in before Store to Door delivers groceries this afternoon. Please expect no more than a Personal Update tomorrow. I have an preventive appointment with my cardiologist. Hectic Hugs!

From The New Yorker: Moments after the decorated veteran testified to Congress on Tuesday, Donald Trump accused Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman of becoming a war hero “just to make me look bad.”
In a vicious broadside on Twitter, Trump claimed that Vindman carried out an “evil plan, years in the making” to “load himself up with medals” that would give his future testimony against Trump greater credibility.
“Fifteen years ago, he went to fight in Iraq, thinking to himself, ‘Boy, this is going to help me when I try to attack Trump someday,’ ” Trump tweeted. “This is how the Never Trumpers roll.”

The potentially historic, if hotly disputed, testimony from U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland is the most damaging yet for Trump in Congress’s intensifying inquiry into whether the president should be impeached.
More forcefully than he has before, Sondland declared that the Trump administration would not give Ukraine’s newly elected president, Volodymyr Zelensky, a chance to visit the White House — unless Zelensky agreed to announce investigations that could help the president politically.

Cartoon – Yes, I remember that. And the ridiculous excuses.
You may save money having your own concentrator – when I bought mine, and turned in the insurer’s, it was paid for in rent co-pay savings within three months. Yes, you will have to maintain it out of pocket and repair it out of pocket when necessary, and that’s a pain. But even that you get some back through not having to deal with the insurer.
TNY – Time travel. He did it with time travel. Just the same way Obama time traveled to plant his birth certificate in Hawaii.
WaPo – I never in this lifetime expected to be typing “I hope Sondland has good security.” But here we are.

Today, Fiona Hill, happily outed the faux, Putin created, BS about the Ukraine and the 2016 election. Holmes seemed to have to work hard to contain his ire about the loss of Ukraine lives stemming from Dumpy’s not giving an”F” about Ukraine. If, a big IF, the evangelicals become aware that their God-thing uses such language, will this blow whatever is left of their minds?

I don’t think evangelicals are under any illusions about the purity of his language (much of which is not prohibited in the Bible anyway (but sshhh – don’t tell them that!) Other illusions, yes. Many can’t figure out why God would have chosen him, but He must have, because Hillary, and besides, “God works in mysterious ways” and “His thoughts are not our thoughts.”
Looks like Providence Home Medical Equipment is trying to boost its income by forcing that huge tank on you before the end of this year, doesn’t it. All that has led to is losing a customer and you have to spend your savings on buying a compressor elsewhere. So sorry about that and the nuisance it creates too.

TNY: With his dementia fast worsening under the pressure he’s under, I wouldn’t put it past Trump that Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman is part of a large conspiracy which indeed has started years ago to prepare for his impeachment. It’s all too obvious that Trump has lost all sense of time, the way he keeps wanting to lock up Hillary three years after the election, so probably is prone to believe people have always been out to get him.
WP: Sondland first had his own quid (ambassadorship) for his pro (a $1 million donation) and first lied for Trump, but suddenly recovered from some serious amnesia after looking at possible purgery charges and chose to speak the truth and has now turned to a sort of hero for some…Only in America. 😉

NYT: I could see tRump acting crazy/off the wall with his imagination. Accusing Vindman, that he was plotting an evil plan against him.
WaPo: Mr. Sondland spilled a lot of beans yesterday. I enjoyed watching him mention that there was a quid pro quo. Appreciate his honesty. Wish it would sink into the heads of the repugs.

Sorry to hear about the huge oxygen backup tank situation. Joanne’s suggestion sounds like something I’d check into. Normally you get warranties with these large purchases. Maybe you’d be able to get extended warranties too, which helps in the long run?
