I mentioned reforming the Supreme Court in my comment yesterday. Robert Reich’s great mind fell into the same ditch. I’m for #2, 3, and 4. Number one, term limits, like privatization, may sound good but in practice always works against democracy. On #5, I am open to conviction, although at this point deeply suspicious.

A low bar to start with would be to have them take a Code of Conduct Oath – like lower court justices are required to do. They can draft their own, but I’m sure it’d be similar.
Yes, I forget whether that’s 2 or 3, but it’s in there. You’re right that it bw a low bar. But it is needed – it’s beyond needed. Of course, as you point out, lower court justice all do so, and look what some of them are up to.
