It’s the first fall-like day, here in the CatBox, with a forecast high of only 64Β°.  I still have to run the A/C to  counter the heat my Oxygen concentrator puts out.  WWWendy will be here in under an hour, and we have lots of chores.  Therefore, this is today’s only article.  Ellipsoid Orb Hugs!

Ah… the memories! RESIST!!

From CNN: The attack on the world’s largest oil processing plant early Saturday morning is a dramatic escalation in the confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia — even if the Iranians didn’t fire the drones or missiles responsible.

Several projectiles struck the Abiqaiq plant, starting a series of fires that quickly took out nearly half Saudi’s oil production — 5% of the global daily output — and sparking fears about the security of the world’s oil supplies.

It’s unclear when Abiqaiq, which is operated by Saudi giant Aramco, will be fully operational again.

Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed the attack, saying that 10 drones had targeted Abiqaiq, as well as the Khurais oilfield. But attacks of this scale and accuracy would represent a sudden and remarkable increase in Houthi capabilities, and neither the United States nor Saudi Arabia is buying the claim.

The Republican Reich blames Iran. That they say it is good cause to doubt it.  Either way, fill your gas tank today. This will raise gas prices. RESIST!!

From Haaretz: …Netanyahu is misappropriating his job as prime minister. Another term would probably leave Israel’s democratic institutions, built through great work and years of care, in ruins. The damage Netanyahu will leave behind will be difficult to repair. On Tuesday, at the voting booths, the people must end his reign.

That comes from a leading Israeli news service. May the political demise of both Butcher Bibi [R-IS] and Fuhrer Drumpfenfarten [R-Hades] be rapid and complete! RESIST!!

Vote Blue!!

  1. The attack on the Saudi oil plant is also a subtle reminder of why we need to wean ourselves off limited fossil fuels. If we got all our energy from renewable sources, we wouldn’t have to worry about oil.

  2. Cartoon: A very worthy organization!
    YT: Ahhh…..what a great song!
CNN: Any tension in the region is not good, whoever is to blame. Yes, good point, fill up time for car
Haaretz: I pray that they vote this id out…to bring democracy back in.

Hi, Wendy! I hope that you have a football win today, I’m hoping too! Hope that you have a great day, take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

This just in: “DT inherited a growing economy from the Obama-Biden administration, just like he inherited everything in his life. Now he’s in the process of squandering it.” ~ Joe Biden ~

  3. Not that I admire George W. Bush, but could you imagine how history would view him if that after 9/11 he moved to get us off fossil fuels through a combination of conservation/renewables/ and developing our own reserves as a stopgap till the first two took over.
Not to go all Chicken Little, but this attack on the Saudi oil refinery could easily go all Archduke Franz Ferdinand since both Israel and Saudi have the hots to take out Iran. Even worse, heard something about trump wanting to form a defense alliance with Israel.

  4. Freya makes a good point.  Also, last I read our oil production was at a level for self-sufficiency (if that was how the corporations distributed it)…last time their subsidies were rejustified this was the reason given….

  5. CNN: NOT a good thing!  I go back further, to a previous Liar In chief, St. Reagan, who said he wanted to move unto oil independence, and when he left office our dependence was 79% higher.  Reagan removed the solar panels from the W.H., that carter had had installed.  Now,imagine the difference we could have!!
    CSN: Wonderful song!!
    Haaretz: NAY! on Netanyahu!
    ‘Toon: Love them!

  6. Thank you for sharing your news Tom 🐈 cat.

  7. With any luck, Israel will reject Bibi.  (Fingers crossed!)

  8. 4:08 Not my finest flower.

Cartoon: Excellent organisation. Had to give up 30+ years of membership when we moved here, but I rejoined them as soon as we got here.

YT: Déjà Vu, one of the best albums ever made by people who couldn’t stand each other. They showed it was possible to work towards one goal, setting egos aside, but not for long though.

CNN: Another warning that we should leave fossil fuels behind as energy source. Beach Bum is right, this “could easily go all Archduke Franz Ferdinand”. Israel, Saudi Arabia and America can start another disastrous war in the Middle East because we still depend too much on oil and leaders all over the world will forget everything else and join in, just to safeguard the other half of the Saudi oil output, which is only 5% of the world output. Some people are going to get very rich from this and thousands of civilians will die in the raids in response to these strikes, if not already starving in the largest genocide of the century in Yemen. Who cares as long as our oil is safe, right? The irony is there would be more than enough oil if the Iranians weren’t prohibited from selling theirs. In the meantime, we’re happily going on believing this is not all about oil = πŸ’°.

Haaretz (which is left-wing and thus fake news as far Netanyahu and cronies are concerned): The Israeli should have voted him out in the last elections, but he made it through again, linking himself to the most far-right parties possible, just to stay in power. And as long as those extreme-right parties continue to grow, at the expense of the left, Netanyahu will remain in power, at all costs. Trump and Netanyahu: two dictatorial peas in a right-wing pod.

  9. Thanks and OGIM hugs to all! 26

I agree that this may well be a false flag.
