From NBC News: President Donald Trump retweeted a conspiracy theory Saturday evening alleging without evidence that former President Bill Clinton was connected to the death of wealthy financier and accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, hours after Epstein was found dead by apparent suicide in his federal prison cell.
“Died of SUICIDE on 24/7 SUICIDE WATCH ? Yeah right! How does that happen,” Terrence K. Williams, a conservative commentator and comedian, wrote in the message retweeted by Trump. In a two-minute-long selfie video recording, Williams alleged that the Clintons were responsible for Epstein’s death.
Republicans routinely blame the Clintons for Crimes they committed themselves. RESIST!!

MSNBC – Well, it is a step. But i’m sure everyone’s heard the saying “One step forward, two steps back.” How long has it been since #MoscowMitch brought anything to the floor? Except, of course, his shoulder. And look – teye are using “intelligent” and “Trump” in the same sentence. Anyone knows that’s ridiculous.
Blast – Oh, this one I remember. You had good taste in harmony, TC.
NBC – Yeah, right. Cui bono? The Clintons had literally no motive. Look at people who are active in politics and attempting to rise – and look at Republicans.
Cartoon – After making people of color wait over a hundred years since just the Emancipation Proclamation, what did white people expect? Sure, they were bad. But I tend to write them off as partial justice after a hundred years of lynchings. Call me hard hearted if you will. (Incidentally, people of color are still waiting.)
MSNBC: Expect nothing! “Intelligent” background checks, the insertion of that word in the least intelligent president ever (Yes, G.W.B., you do go to only 2nd dumbest ass) is part of his MO: Use vague wording to confuse, and conflate.
Crimson and Clover: Wonderful song. We have a Google Hub, an my wife, often has radio station 104.3, out of New York, playing on it. They often play ’60’s and ’70’s music. She also asks Google to play similar music, and we hear C and C, on occasion.
NBC: Fits into Dumpy’s MO, once again! What other, purported, world leader is led by idiots on twitter, or Faux Newsabuse?

Also: Reading Daniel Goleman’s “Emotional Intelligence,” the 10th anniversary edition, with an introduction written in 2005, before Dumpy entered politics, and during G.W.B’s imbecilic presidency, he wrote “These are times when the fabric of society seems to unravel ever-greater speed, when selfishness, violence, and a meanness of spirit seem to be rotting the goodness of our communal lives.” So, it seems to me that this would be part of the argument that Dumpy, and his “appeal” during the primaries were symptoms of our culture’s unravelling. The hate tied to racial animosity were already there, never disappeared from the rotting underbelly of the culture, held onto by the aptly described “Deplorables.” Dumpy has grabbed onto this with two fists, rode it to electoral victory in ’16, and seems to be betting the farm on it, for ’20!

The cycle of gun violence goes round and round and round – a mass shooting occurs, the general public demands a solution, Congress makes chin music then goes back to kissing the NRA’s fat ass, nothing changes. When are we finally going to break this cycle of nonsense? When will we finally reach the tipping point? When will we finally generate the storm powerful enough to bring down the gun lobby’s oak tree? As the old song states, how many deaths will it take till we know that too many people have died? Far, far too many people have died. The time for sensible gun policy was not last year, it was decades ago.
Maybe now, what with the NRA embroiled in scandal, the gun control crowd can finally win. Always strike when your enemy is weakest.
How many people will this upset? I just read, but could not insert it here, that with Epstein dead, NO ONE has agency to block whatever comes out of the material, videos, pictures, the authorities may find in the goodies they confiscated.
A distant cousin of mine had a wedding yesterday, and my 91 y/o aunt from Illinois came down for it.
So I was AWOL Saturday spending a delight day with my family.
I’ll try to go back and review.

MSNBC: It was quite revealing that Trump has actually done nothing more than facilitate access to guns since the previous shootings and now he’s only talking about intelligent background checks. Nobody knows what he means by that, and neither does he, as this probably is one of those word-salad mispronunciations of what he picked up from his advisors. As one commenter said, Trump will only do something on gun-control if it helps him to get reelected.
YouTube: It was the favourite of my brother, who was two years younger than I, and it was the first single he ever bought. As it was his only record, he played it so often on the little record player we shared it still drives me up the wall whenever I hear it.

Sounds more like a lot of Republican ‘simultaneous coincidences’, doesn’t it?
Not being a usual follower of conspiracy theories, I found myself jumping right into that column when I heard about the ”mysterious suicide.” “Mysterious?” HAH! This is so suspicious that it’s laughable. Some very important/wealthy/privileged people are undoubtedly concerned about what was coming out in this trial. Can’t you imagine someone ”visiting” and saying, “Look…here are your options…kill yourself or we’ll do it for you.”
In fact, it’s very Putinesque, isn’t it?
