It’s another busy day here at the CatBox.  Unit 245 is a much smaller unit than Unit 215 was.  It is big enough to meet my needs, albeit barely.  The bathroom, on the other hand, is magnificent.  I can’t wait to break in my new throne, and it has a roll in shower.  I would have taken pictures, bur when I reached into the pouch on my wheel chair, I discovered that my iPhone was still sitting on my bed here.  ARGH!  I’ll be going back there tomorrow with Anne, a CCC Rep., to sigh paperwork, get keys, pay and take possession.  I’ll take pics then.  For that reason, I’ll be posting only a Personal Update with no links messages on Care2.  The trip back may be gruesome.  We have 96° forecast.  Oh God it’s Monday!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:45 (average 5:26).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From YouTube (CNN Channel): Watch Fox News host call Trump statement ‘fake news’

Barf Bag Alert!!

When Laura Ingraham, one of the most rabid goose-steppers at the Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda, Faux Noise, calls bullshit on her own beloved Fuhrer, you know he stepped in it. RESIST!!

From YouTube (A blast from the the past):

Ah the memories! RESIST!!

From TPM: Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao cleared the path for projects that would specifically benefit Kentucky and thus, her husband Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) ahead of his 2020 reelection bid.

According to Politico, these arranged grants ultimately topped $78 million.

Chao assigned her aide Todd Inman to be the special liaison for Kentucky projects, a perk that other states did not enjoy and which helped channel money and attention into the Bluegrass state.

Dang! Bought Bitch Mitch is corrupt? What a surprise… NOT! RESIST!!

Cartoon:

Using Trump instead would be a trans-species fallacy.

  1. CNNL: He’s a disgrace, (as if we didn’t know that already!) So, so disrespectful. I’m glad that she clarified afterwards though.

CSNY: Boy, this sure brings back memories for me. I’ve got an 8 track of their songs…somewhere..

    Cartoon: Word.

Glad that you got there, and back okay. Can’t wait to see the pics! Hope that you have a good day tomorrow to with everything going on. Enjoy the rest of your day/evening, take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

*This just in: “Fox follows the money. Tucker Carlson Y Laura Ingram just lost Bayer as an advertiser.” ~Rick S. ~
    2. Thoughts on DT’s thinking processes: “Yes, we can land on the sun, we just have to go at night. ~ Anon ~
    3. Best one yet, imho: June 14th is Trump’s birthday. People are asking media not to run any stories about Trump that day. Trump Free Day!! ~ Vickie M. ~

  2. 5:35 Sure there’s enough green in there? We wouldn’t want any shade to feel left out.

I would be only too happy to take 15-20 of those degrees off your hands. Alas, there’s no technology for that.

There are no words. The National Guard wasn’t enough, now it’s Park Rangers. I am not making this up.

CNN – More than double? More than quadruple! “What could he do to unite the country?” RESIGN!! (Seppuku would also work.) I have no idea why Ingraham decided to tell the truth on air

Past blast – I woke up this morning to the realization that the BeeGees “I started a joke” could easily be about Donald J. Trump (not that he has anything like the perspective to get the point, but …) Now he needs to finish it off.

TPM – That needs to be (but probably won’t be) looked into deeper. What does Kentucky want with roads? If people have good roads, they’ll just leave the state. No, that money has to be getting diverted into other things.

    Cartoon – Sigh. You’re right.

  3. Good news, TC!  Good luck with the new place!!
CNN: Do you mean to say that Ingraham can actually discern the difference?
    Woodstock: Love that music!
TPM: Maybe Mitch’s opponent ought to run through the state asking people how much they enjoy being played for fools!
‘Toon: The GOP has been bringing us all kinds of new reasons to doubt the old, disparaged, concept of Victorian times that human evolution is perfecting the human species.

  4. The Tangerine Trog has had more interviews on Faux News than other networks combined – a lot more? Gee, I am so amazed. Trash talking with a veterans’ cemetery as a background? That is trashier than the home of Sesame Street’s Oscar! Both tRump and his boot-licking toadies have a lot of egg on their faces. When Laura Ingraham attacks Agent Orange, that’s a sure sign of serious division in the ranks of Reich-wingers. Love the M.C. Escher reference, as that vividly describes tRump’s messed-up, laughable, Protean perceptions. He thinks the Moon is part of Mars. What loony-bin B.S. will he face-fart next week?

TPM: Aw, c’mon – there’s no conflict of interest there. What’s the problem? 10

Cartoon reminds me of the new wave group Devo. My father was a big fan (probably still is) and I’m a fan too.

  5. Hello everyone! I’m just here for a quick post. I saw this and immediately thought of our Fearless Leader (TomCat).   https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2014/10/27/1339526/-Why-cats-aren-t-Republican?detail=emaildkcc

  6. Twitler has accomplished one amazing feat that I doubt any of us thought was possible 10 years ago.
    He has made Dubya

    Seem like an absolute genius!

  7. Woodstock/CSNY: One of my favorite groups.
TPM: Like all the other cronies, there seems to be some evil doing going on.
    Cartoon: So true.
Glad that you like your new place. Good luck with the paperwork/signing tomorrow.

  8. Update us to be sure we’re on the same page WRT your move.

Are you still moving to The Heights?  Or did that go by the wayside?

And if it is The Heights, is this, perchance, the floor plan (or a mirror image of it)?  Because if it is, it looks spectacular.

  9. Thanks and frustrated Hugs! 13
