I’m feeling frustrated this morning.  I just received an auto-reply that the person at CCC, who’s supposed to be organizing my move, is out of the office until Monday.  That not only leaves me hanging, but also, means that I cannot move next week.  Now it will have to wait until the week after.  ARGH!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:52 (average 5:41).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Mitch McConnell Blocks Bills To Combat Election Interference

Bought Bitch Mitch and the Republican Reich want Russian interference. They are depending on their Russian masters’ help to stay in power. RESIST!!

From Oregon: In Lynn’s Honor

It’s about time someone gave our Sasquatch the credit she deserves. Oregon leads the way! RESIST!!

From The New Yorker: The special counsel Robert Mueller ignited a firestorm of controversy on Wednesday by recommending that millions of Americans read.

Mueller, seemingly oblivious to the uproar he was about to create, repeatedly commented that there was valuable information available to the American people only by reading a long book.

At the White House, sources said that Donald J. Trump was furious about Mueller’s statement because he interpreted the special counsel’s pro-reading message as a thinly veiled attack on him.

I hate to say it, but Andy has a very valid point. Expecting American voters to read is a tall order, and expecting Republican sheeple to read is pure comedy. RESIST!!

I don’t like the devices, but love the contents.

  1. 6:19 Not that this looks like it, but Spanish architecture is often actually Muslim architecture.

You are more organized than I am.  I would be frustrated, but also on some level relieved – more time to pack.

MSNBC – Yes, we’ll have to depend on states to secure their own. It’s therefore an even better thing than we thought that so many states turned blue … but I’m still worried.

    OSFM – How nice!

TNY – There’s a “Mueller Book Club” which can be joined (in time for the third session) which put out a reading schule, demanding but not impossible, to read and than join an online (and possibly phone – I’m not sure) discussion group on that portion. I think the second session was last night (it may have been Tuesday). I do know that Jerry Nadler was a special guest. That said, can we call him the former special counsel yet? Also, the firestorm would have been even greater if so many Americans were not ashamed to admit they cannot read.

Cartoon – I think most wmen have a love-hate relationship with it. Except for the ones who just won’t wear one at all. That would be pure hate.

  2. MSNBC: McConnell is guilty of dereliction, deceitful behavior. What a spiteful individual. As are the whole lot of R’s. ugh!

    OSFM: Pretty Suh-weet!!

    NYer: Word !!!

Cartoon: Ahhh….the good old shoulder boulder holder. lol
While it’s frustrating for you about moving, that’s more days in which you can rest and relax and get things done…imho. It rained hard last night, lightening/thunder/wind and with mature trees fallen from the winds and roads blocked with debris, and an hour long disruption of power. I like sitting in the dark and don’t mind it, but it has to be on my terms, not the electrical transformers right up the street. lol

*This just in: Well, if this didn’t get my goat.. “The Navy was reportedly directed by the White House to keep the destroyer USS John S. McCain hidden during a Memorial Day visit by President Donald Trump to U.S. Fleet Activities Yokosuka.”
    2. “Republicans for the Rule of Law (RRL), a conservative group whose stated purpose is “defending the institutions of our republic,” will advertise on Fox & Friends next week to urge members of Congress to hold President Donald Trump accountable for the findings in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.
MUELLER DID HIS JOB… NOW DO YOURS! *Newsweek

  3. So Son-of-a-Bitch McConnell blocked bills intended to stymie election interference? That speaks volumes about his ethics.

  4. WHY the hell would he want to block a bill to Combat Election Interference?!?!?

Too darn obvious to me!!! 🀬

  5. McConnell has no ethical footing, nor an ethical bone in his body.  He will go down inhibitory as the poster boy for “scumbag!”
Oregon knows value when see it.
New Yorker: Reading, I just read, earlier this evening, is only 5,000 years old, but, if it’s not the National Enquirer, or People magazine, too many Americans just get a headache in trying to decipher those funny little squiggles on the paper.
‘Toon: Not going to touch that one with a 9 foot pole!

  6. What a lousy no good bas*ard mCconnell is blocking these bills. Well we know where he deserves to live…in hell.
Sorry to hear about the person being out of the office. I would just take my time doing the packing at a slower pace, to where you won’t get surprised if it changes for any reason.
Had appointments today, so I’m running late.

  7. Thanks and Hugs to all. 23
