From NY Times: Democrats accused Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader, of hypocrisy on Tuesday after he said Republicans would confirm a justice to the Supreme Court if a seat opened up amid the election campaign in 2020, even after denying President Barack Obama a similar opportunity in 2016.
The senator made the remarks at a Chamber of Commerce event in Paducah, Ky., after an audience member asked what Senate Republicans would do if a Supreme Court justice died next year.
“Oh, we’d fill it,” he responded with a grin, prompting laughter from the audience.
In short, the theft of an Obama Justice for SCOTUS, replaced by a Trump Injustice for SCROTUS (Republican Anti-Constitutional VD), was a scam perpetrated by Bought Bitch Mitch, a typical Republican. Every Republican in office is one Republican too many. RESIST!!

For a Republican, this guy makes some decent points.
CSPAN – I gather he (unless the first time was someone else?) has done it twice this week. And that he is bucking fellow Republicans as well as, of course, Democrats. Joined at the hip to Bought Bitch Mitch?
RR – Are there enough people today who even understand what “malefactors” means? I might also point out that FDR had three terms and part of a fourth to accomplish breaking the grip of the oligarchy, and therefore, under the guise of “tradition,” they used all the influence they had left and quickly made sure that no one else could ever do that. And they have never regretted it, because through gerrymandering, election fraud, voter suppression, and the electoral college, they have been ablt to maintain their straglehold by passing power from Republican to Republican ever since. Those Demmocrats who made it through were either killed, set up, or garroted by the Republican majority Congresses. This is only ONE example of how term limits do NOT benefit progressives.
NYT – Heads I win, tails you lose.
