Not quite a sabbatical, but between doctor appointments and one of my cousins being in town from Chicago for the Royals v White Sox games this opening weekend, I really didn’t have time to put one together.

But I think this will provide you with a few smiles, giggles and outright guffaws – at least it did for me.

So I hope you enjoy: “Cats vs The World”

  1. Cross posted to Care2 HERE

  2. I have a Russian Blue.
(or does she have me?) lol

I can relate to cats watching TV, as mine loves to watch Nat’l Geo, and cartoons.
Not that she’s spoiled or anything…but she sets her agenda for each day, and works through
her schedule, like a pro. She even gets along with my little Shih Tzu, and they rest together after
doing their chores around the house. lol
She doesn’t like going outside, or getting dirty either, lol.

Enjoyed your post, SoINeedAName, animals (big & small) are the best, imho.
Thank you for post, and Joanne for cross posting.

  3. Thanks Nameless!  We win! ðŸ˜»

  4. “Cats vs Water” reminds me of Buttermilk, a cat my family had when I was a kid. He didn’t mind getting wet at all – in fact, he would get in the tub with me. Willingly.

  5. Loved it, thanks.

  6. Loved the video of the cats. Having so much fun with the Robotic vacuum.
I would of not been too happy about the Christmas tree falling. Yikes. I hope they did that on the last day they had it up.
They have so much fun with boxes and water.

  7. Cats in water reminds me of my Scooter (RIP).  When he was a kitten, he started sleeping in the water dish because there was nowhere else — too many sibs!  Once he came home with me, he loved to jump in the shower with me.  He’d even get soaped up from time to time.

Years ago, I had a cat named Soo who would sit before the TV and chase a pair of lips around the screen.  They were part of a Neilson Crispy Crunch advert.  She would positively go nuts!

As the saying goes, cats rule, dogs drool!  And another, dogs have owners, cats have staff.  I can attest to that one.  I am owned by 3 cats.

Loved the vid Nameless.  Meow, meow!

  8. As one owned by many cats, I’ve seen most versions of Cats vs the World come by, including the ruined Christmas Tree. I’m not sure if I enjoyed all of them at the time, but I certainly did now.

Thanks for posting, Nameless. You did well to take it easy this weekend.
