From BBC: China is attempting to "meddle" in the forthcoming US mid-term elections, President Donald Trump told world leaders during a UN meeting.
"They don’t want me or us to win because I am the first president to ever challenge China on trade," Mr Trump said on Wednesday.
Mr Trump did not offer proof for his claim. China and the US have been in a battle over tariffs since his election.
China’s foreign minister denounced the "unwarranted accusation".

In contrast, Trump said, “I killed at the U.N.”

BBC: Thank you for posting this, TomCat!! I guess with all the attention the Ford/Kavanaugh hearings are drawing, most Americans forgot to look at the damage Drumpf did at the UN in several speeches. Neither did they hear how France’s Emmanuel Macron use[d] UN speech to rebuke Trump-style nationalism and how he was applauded for it. The rest of the world did notice; the clip of Drumpf claiming that the Chinese are meddling in the midterms, followed by the Chinese delegation going uncharacteristically ballistic, was shown on all major news broadcasts. Democratic America can’t leave this man out of its sight!
TNY: You were at Drumpf’s UN press conference afterwards, weren’t you, Andy? This is straight reporting from that conference where Drumpf rambled on for 83 minutes about how great he’d been and where he turned his blooper into a ‘prepared’ joke.

Women will not be silent! Women do not give their consent! It was so pleasant not hearing about or from O’Lielly for so long. Then came Kavanope to wake the sleeping O’Lielly.
BBC — Diaper Don can try to deflect all attention away from the US and onto the flavour of the day — China, Canada, Mexico etc — but the international community is still laughing uproariously!!! In their presentation to the US people, Faux Noise edited out the laughter at Diaper Don by the UN ambassadors. Asked about it, the ambassadors confirmed their laughter! Diaper Don has made the US the laughing stock of the world. Considering his thin skin, would someone please take the football away from Diaper Don!!!

I have had to adjust my schedule quite a bit to incorporate giving my Winnie his twice daily insulin shot and his meals. It is taking me one hour to give him his shot and food twice a day. It would not be so onerous if he was my only furbabe as his sibs like the wet food he gets and try to get past me. Of course they get the same kibble which Winnie loves but cannot have anymore. They must eat during the same hour because I take up the bowl. They are so accustomed to grazing throughout the day that it will take some time to adjust. At least Winnie is adjusting to the new routine even if the others are fighting it. This has also made the rest of my schedule more problematic. I really hope that with some weight loss, the need for insulin disappears. Hope you’re not too hot. Today is scheduled to be sunny and warm (24C=75F).
