I was overjoyed to learn late yesterday that the FBI raided Trump’s fixer and strong arm man, Michael D. Cohen, and took everything. They were so thorough that, if Cohen farts in the next two weeks, you’ll have to go to the FBI, if you want to smell it. The Fuhrer is so furious that he called it an attack on our country. Not that’s absurd!
The F.B.I. raided the Rockefeller Center office and Park Avenue hotel room of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, on Monday morning, seizing business records, emails and documents related to several topics, including a payment to a pornographic film actress. Mr. Trump, in an extraordinarily angry response, lashed out hours later at what a person briefed on the matter said was an investigation into possible bank fraud by Mr. Cohen. Mr. Trump accused his own Justice Department of perpetrating a “witch hunt” and asserted that the F.B.I. “broke in to” Mr. Cohen’s office. The president, who spoke at the White House before meeting with senior military commanders about a potential missile strike on Syria, called the F.B.I. raid a “disgraceful situation” and an “attack on our country in a true sense.” It is not clear how the F.B.I. entered Mr. Cohen’s office, but agents had a search warrant and typically would have presented it to office personnel to be let in. Note that criminality supersedes attorney-client privileges. Since it is abundantly clear that virtually all non-social interaction between Cohen and Trump are criminal, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York has hit the mother lode.
I’m sure that a lot of the information will find its way into Mueller’s hands, but no matter what happens to Mueller, there’s everything here needed to put Trump away for years. But will it be used?

I can hardly wait to learn what the G-Men find. No doubt there is a trainload of material that could topple tRump. So, will future historians call this raid the beginning of the end for the Orange Ogre?
I see that many, including authors of posts, are referring to the US Attorney of the Southern District of New York “authorizing” these raids. I say to them, and I say here, that these raids were AUTHORIZED by a JUDGE after a mountain of paperwork (See Rachel). We can certainly discuss who REQUESTED the warrants.

The NYT Washington correspondent, Michael Schmidt, said Drumpf might as well “rip the bandage off now”, i.e. fire Mueller, and get it over with, because it would only get worse. Bandage? Mueller and the FBI must have so much on Drumpf by now that he looks a gore-soaked mummy by now. If Drumpf would start ripping at that “bandage” to get rid of Mueller, he’ll fall apart completely.
For now, the FBI is looking at Cohen outside the scope of Mueller’s special investigation. Drumpf’s own hand-picked DAG Rosenstein has signed off on an investigation into Cohen, not Drumpf; as such it hasn’t anything to do with Mueller. Ripping at all that bandage now would only make it all to clear that Drumpf feels threatened and has all the reasons in the world to feel threatened. Firing Mueller would be only more obstruction, possibly even in the eyes of Republicans. Mueller is one incredibly smart, tactically brilliant AND fiercely independent investigator. Kudos to him.
Nevertheless, it’s starting to look like the Fuhrer just might do it.

And, true to his fashion, tDump said that the FBI “Broke into” cone’s office, a claim that Cohen, himself, debunked when he rented that the FBI folks were very polite.
