  1. In high school a friend had walking pneumonia–she described energy drain much like mononucleosis and how many weeks to expect that drain as pretty similar.  You are wise to plan around that.

    Bullying is never socially acceptable.

    • P.S. Alan Grayson, after seeking input from voters and getting it from over 400,000, just endorsed Bernie

  2. One of our school nurses (a few years back), had walking pneumonia, and she didn't even know it, except for the extreme tiredness and lack of energy. She thought she just had a cold !!

Good for you! You are wise to stay relaxed, hydrated, and nap if you must.

    Take good care, Tom.

ps. Did you see the video with Trump telling Christie to go away?
Busted–Open Mic Moment: Trump Sends Christie Off Stage Like A Sad Child After Endorsement (VIDEO)

    • Trump is a taker by his own admission.  I doubt he gives a rat's ass about Christie.  Christie kissed his ring and that is all he wants.  I here Alabaman Senator Jeff Sessions has also kissed the Hairball's ring!

    • Thanks for the link, Pat. You almost feel sorry for big bully Christie, he probably believed all those lies and promises just like any other Trump fan, especially those that were made to him personally, and now he's sent off to play with the other kiddies and keep quiet while the grownups are doing the real work.

  3. 4:27  Certainly looks familiar.

Cartoon – Darn, so does that.  Yeccch.

  4. 4:02  Did I measure up?

Cartoon — It's amazing that you were able to fit these two ego manical fatheads in the same picture.  They are revolting!

  5. Your game plan sounds eminently wise and reasonable.

Don’t be discouraged if there’s a minor setback – few things travel in a straight line.

BUT by Tuesday, definitely better than when you were first seen!

  6. Yesterday afternoon was spent pruning – Pruning – Pruning!  We had temps in the upper 60s – GREAT for February in KCMO!

They say that late-winter or early spring is the best time to prune, so I hope I made it under the gun.  (And Fall is the worst time because plants don’t have time to harden off.)

And today I FINALLY got around to buying a new computer!

My Sony “All-in-One” gave up the ghost w/ its “Operating System Not Found” error message last 9/11/15 (easy date to remember).  And my External Hard Drive soon followed suit!  So I’ve been limping along w/ my Dell laptop in the interim.

After my typical OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) searching, I got a new Dell tower from Costco – but had to order the new Dell monitor from Amazon because Costco didn’t carry the one I wanted, and Best Buy were sold out of it – even online.

So by next weekend I hope I’m up and running

… BUT I have GOT to get my taxes done before I get to do “Play Time” stuff!

  7. So glad you are improving, and that you are wise enough to stay down.  get healthy!

    Cartoon;

Both of these men are bullies and it leaves me speechless when I hear someone supporting them.

  8. Most important of all is your rest, TC  – cuddle with a kitty and  get better.  The idiots will still be around when you are all better…

  9. That's exactly what I wanted to hear from you, TomCat: feeling a bit better every day, but careful not to overdo it in order to avoid a relapse. You get thumbs up from me!

  10. Thanks everyone!!  Still improving!!
