Asked to pick an ideal Supreme court judge, Herman Cain had no trouble doing so. Which one? You can dismiss the four Justices on SCOTUS. He would never pick one of them. That leaves the five Injustices on SCROTUS. Figuring out the answer is easy. Just ask yourself, which Injustice has the most in common with 9-9-9?

For the record, we on “the left” do not attack Justice Thomas for any reason other than the fact that he is a terrible judge. His record on the Supreme Court is marred by conflicts of interest and other ethical scandals, and he embraces a discredited understanding of the Constitution that would declare everything from child labor laws to the ban on whites only lunch counters unconstitutional.
Thomas accepted lavish gifts from wealthy benefactors and even from corporate-aligned interest groups with business before his Court. Leading conservative donor Harlan Crow, whose company often litigates in federal court, provided $500,000 to allow Thomas’s wife to start a Tea Party group and he once gave Thomas a $19,000 Bible that belonged to Frederick Douglass. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a conservative think tank which frequently files briefs in Thomas’ Court, also gave Thomas a $15,000 bust of Abraham Lincoln as a gift. This last gift is particularly egregious because Thomas continued to sit on three cases where AEI filed a brief.
Significantly, a justice was forced to leave the Court for a very similar gifting scandal. In 1969, Justice Abe Fortas resigned in disgrace after the nation learned that he had accepted tens of thousands of dollars worth of gifts from corporate executives and other wealthy benefactors. Justice Thomas, by contrast, remains openly defiant at the mere suggestion that he has done anything wrong.
Nor is Thomas’ taste for expensive gifts his only ethical lapse. Thomas unethically attended a political fundraiser hosted by right-wing billionaire Charles Koch. He illegally omitted hundreds of thousands of dollars of his wife’s income from conservative organizations from his financial disclosure forms. And he has not disclosed whether his wife, a Tea Party lobbyist, is lobbying on any laws that are before his Court — a problem that could potentially raise recusal issues in the Affordable Care Act case.

See? that wasn’t hard was it? Clarence “Teabag” Thomas is the 9-9-9 of judges, because, like 9-9-9, he is thoroughly dishonest, favors the rich above all else, and has no redeeming qualities.

I watched Meet the Press yesterday AM and knew his answer would be Clarence Thomas before he even opened his mouth.
Jeffrey Sachs on Morning Joe a little while ago said that the Koch brothers have been secretly funding Cain for the past 5 years. Joe nearly exploded.It seems that’s how he came up with his 9-9-9 plan. Sachs is a well respected PhD and author. I have no doubts that he is right on the money with this. That’s probably why Cain said yesterday that he’s not worried about raising money for his campaign. Watch him soar to the top of the candidates. He won’t be the flavor of the month. It’ll be the RepublicanTs way of saying: “See, we’re not racist.” He would be their puppet in the WH.
Rep. Louise Slaughter of NY says the amount of money he “overlooked” amounts to $1.6 million.

Thomas at his best is a poor excuse for a Judge–He has and is , making a mockery of the Supreme Court- Is there any decision that has been rendered since he was appointed that is without a taint 😕 The decision making Corporations — “persons” , threw the door wide open for exactly what we are seeing now— Backed by Koch’s funds- Unethical .. No future decision will be untainted– If he doesnt have the guts to resign- what is stopping a formal recusal process ? Not to mention all the evidence of tax fraud–

Too bad that with a Republican House, Thomas will never be impeached because he should be impeached. A SCOTUS Injustice who can’t read and understand a legal form such as the disclosure has no business sitting in judgement of others in the highest court of the land. No judgement that he renders will be worth the paper it is on. And to have Koch as his benefactor, well that is just the height of arrogance, ignorance and stupidity. And Cain is just as bad, if not worse. He, without previous political experience, thinks that the Koch Brothers can buy him the presidency of the US. If he succeeds in becoming POTUS, he’ll be nothing more than a figurehead to the de facto presidents, the Koch Brothers. If that comes to pass, the US will be renamed Kochistan and cease to be the Land of the Free, unless of course you are a recognised part of the 1% who will have free reign to rape and plunder the country.
I wonder what would happen to the Perrys, Romneys, Bachmanns etc? Perhaps quiet disappearances from public view? This is starting to sound like one of those bad futuristic movies!
