Yesterday I thought I was feeling better and I did some more visiting.  Sadly, today I’m worse, but I am caught up with comments.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today it took me 5:01 (average 6:07).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From NECN: Palin spoke at a banquet celebrating the centennial of former President Ronald Reagan’s birth. She said America is dangerously out of step with Reagan’s values and that the country is "on the road to ruin."

Palin said the moment of disconnect came with the passage of Obamacare.

Were the immaculate Saint Ronnie around today, the blood libel bitch would be the first to drum him out of the party as a liberal socialist Nazi.

From Alternet: Embattled Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, whose regime has received billions in U.S. aid, has been in the global media spotlight of late. He’s long been “our bastard,” but he’s not alone.

Let’s take a look at the other dictators from around the planet who are fortunate enough to be on Uncle Sam’s good side.

This three page article is an excellent primer on whom the US should NOT be supporting!

From Think Progress: Now, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has sent a letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates inquiring about Manning’s condition, protesting the Army’s treatment of him, and requesting a visit with the imprisoned solider.

Dennis will never be my choice for the Presidency, but I sure support him here.

  1. Rest Tom…get a helper with this blog if you need to but rest damn it!

  2. 5:36 Definitely a hard on today. I’m 9 of 36

  3. I agree with you TC – Reagan would have been drummed out of the party for being too liberal!

I’d be too disgusted to look, but I will anyway.

    Dennis is a good man.

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately; we have a new dog – she’s 5 but you’d think she’s a puppy. She almost yanked both my arms out of their sockets in the last couple of days. She chews her play toys and throws her bone and she follows me everywhere. She’s just now starting to chill out. Plus I’ve had bad back problems and been in the hospital twice with back spasms since Christmas.

    • Undoubtedly.

      Was it worth the read?

      That he is.

Lisa, I’m so sorry about your back. {{{hug}}} About that dawg, you should have adopted a TomCat. We are much better pets.

  4. My big girl is fighting what sounds like a similar bug, TC plus one of my youngest’s co-workers fighting it as well. It’s tough man, hang in there. Politics and the economy and your friends will be here when you’re back in fighting trim.
