Romney is Pro-Anti-Choice

Multiple Mitt is an ideal nickname for Romney, the only candidate to stand firmly, decisively, and irrevocably on both sides of every issue.  There is no lie Romney will not tell to be elected.  Today we have a treat that perfectly illustrates Romney’s steadfastness.

Romney2FaceIf you saw last night’s debate, you’ll remember that Mitt Romney grew visibly irritated when Newt Gingrich challenged his pro-life credentials. "I’m not questioned on character or integrity very often," he said, adding that "this is not the time to be doubting people’s words." Romney defended his record, saying that he "was an avidly pro-life governor," citing support from a group called Massachusetts Citizens for Life to make his case.

The problem? In a gubernatorial debate ten years earlier, he flatly denied having knowledge of the very same group’s endorsement. When his opponent accused him of having accepted their backing, he grew just as indignant as he was last night—except this time, he was defending his pro-choice beliefs. "I don’t know about the endorsement of the Massachusetts Citizens for life," he said, adding that it was "unbecoming" of his female opponent to suggest otherwise. "When I’m governor, and I’m convinced I will be, I will preserve and protect a woman’s right to choose," he said… [emphasis added]

Inserted from <Daily Kos>

Here’s the video combining the two events.

Notice how both of Romney’s talking heads were equally indignant that someone had the audacity to question the integrity of his lies.

But Mitt does have one thing in common with Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul.  None are fit to lead this nation!

  1. One thing is certain – he must be pro birth control – because he’s lubed himself up for every guy on the street and hasn’t got himself pregnant yet! Unless he’s in menopause – which is always a possibility this whore will do and say anything to get himself elected, maybe that’s a good thing? – could we screw him into being a liberal?

  2. I wonder what , if anything, Mittens does believe–!! The GOP has come up with the worst bunch of nincompoops in recent history-Lead this Nation? Lead the world ? None of them are fit to lead cub scouts out of the backyard !

  3. Mittens’ new campaign song ~ Two Faces Have I by Lou Christie (no relation to Chris)

The lyrics to this oldie wouldhave to be changed of course. But the title fits him well.

  4. Not only did Rmoney SIGN a Planned Parenthood questionnaire stating that he supported Roe v Wade when running for governor, but he also actually DONATED $150 to Planned Parenthood.  You just never know which side of his mouth he’s talking out of, do you?

  5. Love the title of this piece — Romney is Pro-Anti-Choice.  Oh for the old double negative to confuse the hell out of people and leave them wondering!  Seems based on the Daily Kos video, Romney has no idea where he stands.  Romney is a ‘user’ and hence a liar of the greatest magnitude.  He uses whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear at the time.  That means he is making a conscious decision at the time as to be deceitful and lie.  I doubt he knows the difference anymore between truth and lies because he uses the latter so much  in place of the former.

The one taunt you hated to hear as a kid but it certainly applies to Romney: Liar, liar pants on fire!

    It has to make you wonder though.  A declaration of pro-life by Romney, indeed all of the Republican/Teabaggers yet they are ready to go to war at the drop of a hat for no reason;

. . . and the biggest anti healthcare,
    . . . and anti women’s health,
. . . and anti education so that people can lift themselves up,
    . . . and anti environmental protections,
    . . . and pro death penalty,
. . . and the list goes on!

You know, Romney is a control freak,  In watching the Daily Kos video, he was very agitated at the suggestion that he was pro-life, and the more the woman, whom I presume to be his opponent, brought things up, the more agitated he became.  The other day I saw a video piece of Romney in SC who was asked a question by a bystander.  To say the least he was agitated and he certainly had a few words to say to the person.  He was not Mr Smooth and sophosticated, but rather a pugilist.  His handlers, or perhaps Gov Haley’s pulled him away.  He was definitely stressed which a certain amount I can understand.  But if this is the kind of thing that is going to put him over the top, how will he manage with international affairs?  He won’t and the US will have yet another war!

    • Well put!

There is no doubt about that.  For the Joint Chiefs they are the hammer and all problems are nails.  They have decades of experience on how to spin that to politicians.

  6. Romney should get 100% of the vote.  After all, you can probably find a Romney quote to support whatever you believe.  🙂
