It’s been a sickly day here in the CatBox. My Trump** Virus vaccine was about two hours late, and I had an adverse reaction, but not until twelve hours later. The nausea was quite severe when it came, and it took an anti nausea med to control it then. Now U feel the need to poop but cannot posh the Republicans out of my butt. I seem to be over the nausea.

I honestly didn’t get through all “the usual sources,” and still didn’t feel I had room for everything I wanted to share. So expect catchup ahead.

Meidas Touch – Roland Martin #3 – nothing we didn;t know, but he has the receipts. I viewed it at .75 speed and found that an improvement.

Really American – Ron Johnson

CNN – Jim Acosta gets it.

It’s a busy day here in the CatBox. Yesterday I rested well, but today I have my Trump* – Virus vaccine at around 10:00 AM. WWWendy will be working at my old place this morning and coming to visit me sometime this afternoon. The first time they gave the Moderna vaccine here, nobody had bad side effects, but prayers have never hurt, so prayers-up, please. I Hope this posts. I messed this up.

It’s a hectic day here in the CatBox. After spending the last hour sitting on the throne and waiting for the last turd to exit my butt was my my limit, I filled the throne with Republicans, thanks and hugs to all.

The Lincoln Project – “His Psrty”

The Republican Accountability Project – THAT press conference

Really American – “Tough Guys” (I really don’t know what this trend with no CC is here)

Meidas Touch – This is the first of three from Roland, all three of which I will eventually wor in. And of course he is right about this. And it is no excuse to call it the fault of black people. It is anything but that.

Now This News – Racist? Sexist? (spoiler – both)

This was funny when she first reported it … and now that Jimmy Kimmel has picked it up, it’s even funnier. (I set it to start when he brings up Ursula … you can turn it off when he finishes with Ursula)

It’s a very hectic day, here in the CatBox. Yesterday I had a visit from my new Providence Hospice Chaplain. I was thoroughly impressed with her. I found her a totally authentic Christian and consider myself blessed to have her. If you are so moved, please join me in a prayer of thanksgiving. On the down side I was unable to Replicate this morning. Wish me success on that. Have a fine weekend!

PHP is a programming language used to build websites. We have it at all through our hosting partner, BlueHost. In order to update it, we have to go through Bluehost. During his life, TomCat was the only one who had access to our account there. I (JD) am now the only one. I have been to BlueHost and investigated updating our PHP to 8.3 or even to 8.1. I found instructions to do so - in fact, I found two conflicting sets of instructions. I went through one set of the steps and got the message that Our site could not handle 8.3, but that it had successfully updated to 8.1. I then went back here to see what it looked like. But I couldn't get in - either as an administrator or as a reader. It was just gone. I had to reach BlueHost by phone. It was determined that Politics Plus is in fact not compatible with any version of PHP newer than the one we have. BlueHost therefore uninstalled it for me, and the site came back to normal. Of course, like everyone else, I care about security. But I also am aware that TomCat elected to use different providers for several of the services that BlueHost provides, for instance backups. We are backed up daily - but not by BlueHost. However, out PHP is through Bluehost. I feel that if they are not worried about the older version, I am not going to worry about it. I believe that our security here is all or mostly through WordFence, whom I trust.
