Yesterday I was able to stay caught up, replying to comments here and visiting back everyone who had visited. Today is my day to volunteer in the therapy group for former prisoners. If I go, I’ll be behind again, but I may stay home. I seem to have picked up a bug and, at the moment, both ends of me require greater proximity to a toilet than a 40 minute bus ride will allow.

How are you celebrating MLK Day?
Yesterday I did better than I thought, despite oversleeping. I replied to all the comments here, and visited all the bloggers who had posted comments here plus a few more to boot. Today, I’m feeling really worn out, so I’m taking the day for religious meditation on Chargers, Jets, Cowboys and Vikings.

Yesterday was a mess. I had to wait over an hour in the doctor’s office. Then I had to wait over an hour and a half at the Sprint store for them to check and replace a my defective phone. That killed the day, so I did not even reply to comments here. Since religious meditation (football games) does not start until 1 PM, I’ll catch up on comments and visit as much as I can before then.

What’s up for the weekend?
Yesterday I managed to catch up replying to comments and visiting every blog in my blogroll that has an article two days old or less. I’ll be falling way behind again, because I’ll be at the doctor again today. It’s just a meeting with my primary care provider to coordinate all the health care I’m getting, but the trip is over 90 minutes each way. Then I’ll try to run errands I missed on Wednesday.
On the health care front, I’m waiting for more definitive information on the deal struck yesterday, but I understand that the unions are on board now and that Obama has agreed to end the anti-trust exemption.

Yesterday was gruesome. It was windy and wet, and because I left my cell phone on a desk where I was volunteering, I had to wait an extra hour at bus stops with no shelters. I’ll catch up on replying to comments and visiting blogs today. I have a grocery delivery coming and I’ll have to break to put away a month’s shopping, but I should make a big dent in my backlog.
