Yesterday I managed to catch up on replying to comments, but that’s about all.  I should do better today.  I took the router in to the computer store, and the tech reconfigured it, because the router company tech rep had told me to reset it to factory specs.  I took it hone and, voila!!  Same problem.    So I went back to digging.  Finally I discovered that the network settings in my computer had been changed when I installed a printer software upgrade.  Argh!!  So, I reconfigured the network settings, reinstalled the printer, and at last, everything works.  Finally!!  So after several hours of research, plus several more hours on the phone with one modem tech rep, one printer tech rep, and two router tech reps, plus a four hour trip to see a computer technician, I ended up fixing it myself.  Scheeeesch!!  Congrats to New Orleans fans!!

I enjoyed my day off watching football, and I don’t expect to get any blog visiting done today, because I have to take my router into my computer store , so I can print and connect wirelessly again.  That’s a couple hours each way by bus.  Please bear with me.

Yesterday I only visited the blogs of first time visitors here.  Thanksgiving dinner was excellent.  I did not get to see the Broncos play last night, because I don’t get the NFL Network, but I was delighted with the outcome:

Broncos26-Giants6

After my volunteer work, helping in a therapy group for former prisoners yesterday, I attended their Thanksgiving party.  Then I had some last minute shopping to do for tonight’s dinner.  By the time I returned, I was exhausted.  I won’t do much visiting, if any, today, because I invited a gal in the building who is too disabled to cook for herself to have dinner with me..  I have a lot of cooking to do.

Yesterday I managed to visit several blogs.  Today I shall be quite busy, first assisting in a therapy group for former prisoners, and then running errands and getting the last few things for Thanksgiving dinner.  By the time I return, I expect to be quite drained, as I’m not fully recovered and still feel weak.
Today there will be no story on Afghanistan.  I’m sure almost everyone will be featuring it anyway, so I shall opt to withhold judgment, despite an overriding sense of disappointment, until I hear what Obama has to say about the matter.

Yesterday I had encountered some network problems.  My wireless stopped working without apparent cause.  After several hours of experimenting and conversations with assorted support techs, I’ve narrowed down the problem to my router.  So I’ll have to invest half a day to take it in. And I only got a couple visits in.
