Yesterday I was tied up with volunteer work and did not even get to replying to comments.  Today I’ll be tied up with routine medical stuff.  Don’t worry.  Nothing out of my ordinary.  I hope to catch up tomorrow.

After my appointment yesterday, I bought a new cell phone.  It’s an ANDROID phone from Sprint.  The down side is that it comes with a two year contract.  The up side is that the phone has so many bells and whistles  that it will take me that long to figure it out.  When I returned home, I was so tired that all I did on the computer was to answer a couple emails.  Today will be just as busy.

Yesterday I installed Windows 7.  It is not compatible with Zone Alarm Firewall, so I had to uninstall that first.  The process took about three hours.  When it was done, I had to find a new email client, because it does not support Windows mail.  So I transferred to Windows Live Mail.  It handled importing my accounts, contacts, calendar and folders seamlessly.  Then I had to upgrade several drivers, and set up several internal functions.  Needless to say, I got little else done.  If you plan a Windows 7 upgrade, you might want to talk to me first.  I’ll be scarce for most of this week.  Today, I have an appointment that will take most of the day.  To morrow is my volunteer day with the therapy group.  Thursday I have a doctor’s appointment to get half a dozen referrals.  Friday is grocery day.  Please bear with me.

Yesterday I managed to get some visiting in, before I got tied up in volunteer activities.  I’ll try again today.

Yesterday I felt quite tired and went back to bed for most of the day after getting my articles up.  Then I took time out for the Civil War.  Congrats to the University of Oregon on their win, for winning the Pac Ten,  and for their place in the Rose Bowl where they will play Ohio State.

Yesterday I visited a few blogs before I left, but spent most of the day in a board meeting and then at the prison working to help prisoners in their efforts to change and become productive members of our communities.  I thoroughly enjoy the work.  The downside is that I returned home and went to bed quite late, took a brief cat nap, and am consequently running well behind today.  If this is the top article, please come back in an hour or two.  I have three more articles on the way.   Visiting blogs will probably be limited, because I’m tuckered out.

Yesterday my plans to visit blogs did not materialize.  First, I realized it was time for a monthly report and that took a couple hours to prepare.  Then I got tied up dealing with some health care issues.  By then I felt quite tired, and I decided to rest, because today is my day at the prison, which exhausts me as well.
