TJI #2 – This made me think, “I wish that pressure from the American people would have an effect on Republican politicians.” That led me to, “If things are improving for the American people, why should they care who is doing it?” Which led me to, “They don’t believe that things are getting better for the American people unless things are getting worse for Americans whp are not exactly like them.” How sad that must be! I could not live like that.

Read “Fast” as Speedy” and “Due Process” as “Good” – you can put in “Public Defender” for “cheap” – even though some of them likelky have paid attorneys, they won’t be high priced ones. That gives them a choice between a speedy trial and due process. They are lucky to get one or the other..

Colin Powell: Was so sorry to hear of his passing. He already had some serious medical conditions going on well before he caught Covid-19. So with his system already being weak from these conditions, it’s too bad he was around some who had Covid-19. May he R.I.P.

Cartoon: Nearly a decade lost and incredible damage done in the meantime but at least the Democrats have learned not to take defeat lying down.
C&L: I hope the evidence still rolling in is pertinent to the Oath Keeper cases that are now delayed. And that it is indeed a case of bigger shoes dropping, not some details that do not add up to a longer conviction.
Buzzfeed: These allegations are not at all surprising. These days, it seems a guy doesn’t get to be a rising star in the GQP unless he can show having a sleaze reputation as long as his arm. It has become part of their vetting process.
CP: As Jen Psaki said earlier, science/doctors never maintained that you wouldn’t die from COVID if you were vaccinated. Vaccination just lowers your risk enormously, but never completely down to 0%. As long as unvaccinated people keep COVID ‘propagating’, and mutating, from one person to the next, people with underlying medical issues – and that could just be a weakened immune system due to age – are at risk and can’t get back to “normal” the way others can, or just do.
