I think his suggested addition to the Oath is good.  Sad that it’s needed – but since it is, I’d do it.

More of this!  Good to see we still have patriots & heroes in our government like Jena Griswold!

Did You Hear The Liz Cheney Interview?

Heartening to hear Rep. Cheney say she’s not “willing to turn my party over to anti-Semites, racists and extremists.”

NOTE to LIZ: Removing those “anti-Semites, racists and extremists” is not going to leave with much of a party.

The Real Reason the Economy Might Collapse

So true.  The playing field needs to be leveled, otherwise the current obscene income inequality will destroy our nation.

(The CC subtitles were in Korean – and I couldn’t find an option to change it like usual.)

A Tweet from the “Gravel Institute”?  WTH is the Gravel Institute?

    • I have mixed feelings about the oath … the West Point and USAFA honor code oath both contain something a bit like that (“and will not tolerate those who do”) and frankly it’s far from foolproof.  Tha Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard academies have honor coudes, but that clause isn’t in them.  And – in any case – those are just for the academies.  “Report” is stronger than “will not tolerate” but still vague – report to whom and how? And what if that doesn’t work?  Chelsea Manning reposrt through the chain of command, and look where that got her.  I suppose I’m more skeptical, being a woman, who has known her entire life – as we all do – that allegations of sexual misconduct will not be taken seriously – and I see no guarantee allegations of professional misconduct will be taken seriously either.
