  1. … FBI Needs New Leadership

No argument there.  But in fairness, we should note that Director Chris Wray (as incompetent & partisan as he is, & appointed by Trump) was NOT the FBI Director when McKayla Maroney first reported Nassar’s abuse back in 2015.  James Comey, also appointed by Trump (see a pattern here?) was the Director.

Freedom to Vote Act will save our democracy

Securing and protecting Americans right to vote … hard to imagine anything more important right now.

GOP Comments [WRT Rape] Will DISGUST You

    Un-f\/cking-believable!

Governor Freedumb – The Worst Governor in America

And sadly, he aspires to bump TFG from his bottom-rung perch as “Worst President for America”.

QAnon Followers Question Their Beliefs …

Encouraging … not really all that much, but encouraging.

(We’ll take what we can get – but recognizing reality has never been the GQP’s forte.)

Miley [sic] Helped Prevent Nuclear War

And for that, we should all be eternally grateful!

    • Sorry, I’m confused.  Trump** did not become President until January 2017, so I don’t get how he could have appointed Comey by 2015.  W certainly could have, though.  It’s supposed to be a 10-year post.

    • JM: I have the same remark as Joanne has on Nameless’ Comey remark:
Comey was the FBI director who was fired by Trump after he became president, in May 2017. It would be nice, though, to have a timeline on Nassar investigations to see when exactly the FBI derailed on the Nassar investigation. If it was after Comey left, it could be McCabe (May-August 2017) or Wray from then on.

RU: I think it is fair to say that after the For The People Act’s demise America’s democracy now depends on the Freedom To Vote Act. This is your last chance, America.

MT: That warning at the beginning was very appropriate. MT should be sponsored with millions to bring it to every possible TV station and disgust every woman and as many men as feasible in the nation.

LP: Short and very much to the point.

ROF: The Dutch have a very suitable proverb: when one sheep is over the dam, the rest will follow. May it soon be your proverb too.

Beau: Good advice but to start with, I’m Dutch which automatically seems to imply that I’m straightforward. But in most lines of work, I had to become more ‘diplomatic’ and I’ve learned to be honest and direct all blanketed in the right words and phrases. But secondly, I’ve found it much harder to use “soft language” when I’m speaking directly to people than when I’m writing. This is probably because most often I write and speak in English, my second language. When writing I have more time to think about the exact phrasing and I can even go back and rephrase some parts if I want to. Speak the wrong word and the damage is done.

I think Beau will stop a recording when he notices he’s getting emotional or isn’t using the appropriate soft language and then start all over again.
