JM: It may not have been coordinated in the sense that all those arrested and indicted were part of one large group that was instructed to behave in a certain way, but it is also clear that individual groups like the Proud Boys and other White Supremacists had coordinated within their own group to get their members in the right mindset. When these took the lead to go to the Capitol, the rest of them followed, enticed by TFG, Giuliani, Brooks and Junior. That is how masses work. A few instigators will have the mob follow their lead.
MT: Vindman was spot-on in his assessment of TFG’s usefulness for foreign powers. No more than a useful idiot. They didn’t need more from him as he was the biggest risk to national security all on his own because he was completely disinterested in foreign policy.
