  1. GK: The OLC thing is an “opinion,” not a statute, not a law of any sort, as I understand it, before looking at GK’s video: No,it makes no sense.  Reagan acted in a treasonous manner, when he colluded with the Iranians, about the hostages in order to embarrass Carter.  Same thing.
Forbes: “Leadership?”  McCarthy and “leadership” do not mix well!  This Ryan rocks!
Al Franken: Priceless!  I do not know about the rest of you, but I did a “normal tourist visit” to the capitol some years ago.  I recognized Senator Lautenberg, as he came down the stairs infant of the building, coming towards us, as we were going up those stairs, and had a quiet moment shaking his hand, as nobody was rushing past us with weapons of any sort in their possession, and thanked him for his service, and so on.
NTN:  It’s the newest version of not knowing what one does not know.
LR: Sure does, does it not?
Beau: Hawley?  Love America?  What, is this the updated version of Newt’s “Contract ON America Act?”  Oh, so this is a response to the CRT bull from the right.  Indoctrination, well of course.  Read the Constitution, at the age of what, 10?  Whose version, Ted Cruz’s?  Before the kids get to the 15th amendment, they will encounter the 13th.  Well, what will they make of that?  The kids will not read that Jefferson was persuaded to remove anything about slavery, because that is not, by definition, in the Constitution, or the Declaration.  I never learned that in school, in N.Y.C., even.  Oh, will they learn about the Missouri Compromise?  Hawley can pretend, c’mon, man, that’s all he does.  Beau is pissed, and for good reason.  Of course, if the act passes congress, I expect that the spin that teachers, and textbook companies (don’t forget how much leverage Texas has in that realm) will be able to whitewash it all…pun belongs there.

  2. JM: If a DOJ is just the extension of a criminal president, justice no longer matters. Only keeping that president and all his cronies in power.

RU: Funny and effective because it is funny.

Forbes: You could almost taste and touch Tim Ryan’s despair about so much inhumanity and stupidity from the minority leader of the House. Ryan’s humanity and common sense were very palpable indeed.

AF: Al has taken up his old vocation and shows that he certainly hasn’t lost his touch. Hilarious.

NTN: That moose must have been exhausted, walking all the way down from the Canadian border after it got to nearly 50 degrees Celsius. He was probably looking for a lift back home in that parking garage now it’s a bit cooler. A pity the video doesn’t say what happened to that beautiful specimen. I hope some sanctuary took him in and put the air conditioner on full blast.

LR: Trae hit those nails so hard on the head they’re now red hot and smoking.

    Beau:

Beau’s right, that Act should become law but only if those steps are taught exactly as Beau describes it. Beau’s anger nearing despair should be bottled and sent to all the teachers that would have to teach this idiocy. Which is conveniently timed with the 1/6 investigation, BTW.
